Coffee on Broad — Restaurant in Dunn

This place is great! Their entrance is accessible as my Nana uses a walker and didn’t have trouble getting in. Both ladies at the front greeted us when we came in and explained their menu. They make a lot of homemade syrups. We ordered 2 iced lattes with almond milk and brown sugar cinnamon syrup (homemade), half sweet. The espresso is very smooth. The syrup had a great taste as well. My mom joined us even though she hates coffee with a passion. Angela came to check on us and noticed my mom didn’t have anything to drink. My mom asked if she had a frozen, caramel, non coffee drink and Angela said they didn’t but she would be more than happy to make something for her. She gave my mom her drink and she LOVED it! Coffee on Broad is a must-visit for us Northeasterners when we come down to visit friends and family in Dunn. As someone who only drinks Chai, I was so happy when Coffee on Broad opened up in downtown Dunn; their chai latte rivals the one from my favorite spot back home in PA. The staff is so friendly, the owners are kind and personable, and the cafe is so charming. I've spent hours here doing work, just visiting with friends, or just popping in to grab chai to-go. Great small town coffee shop. I went in search of a non-chain coffee shop when in town. This quaint, on the strip coffee shop is PERFECT for the vibe of the town. I was greeted and asked what I'd like. The ONLY downside was they were out of almond milk (it happens to everyone, right?) so I had to go with oat. I had a hot mocha which was AMAZING!
