WOW, Ive lived here in Dunn for 3 years now & My friend & I went inside to see what they have. When I saw StewBeef & Rice on menu thats all she wrote for ME. I have been wanting some 4 awhile now. Read moreEdit: After reading another review in which the reviewer mentioned how people of all colors are welcome, I just had to come back and mention that yes, this seems to me to absolutely be the case, and I'm very happy for it. Yes, I am a white person, not from the south. I'm married to a POC and we have mixed kids, so I think I tend to notice casual racism where other white people might not. Since moving to NC, I've developed a HUGE, cynical chip on my shoulder towards so-called "southern hospitality." This place actually seems to exhibit the real thing. I would be comfortable bringing my family here. It's very refreshing. End edit. I thought about giving this place 4 stars because service IS a little bit slow and the parking lot is a pain, but the staff really are just so nice. Like, when the guy behind the counter asks how you're doing, he actually seems to mean it. And the food, for what it is, is actually quite good. And fairly priced. So if you want some fast food and are sick of the corporate burger joints, and it doesn't need to be terribly . . . well, fast . . . this is a great spot. I give them 5 stars. Read moreThis is a really good spot! I usually get the Haven Burger combo with a slice of pie or a cobbler or something, depending on how hungry I am. The food's good. I stop in just about every day that I have off. The first time I came in, I gave my name for the order, and since then the workers there have remembered it! Like, I'll just walk in and David or (goodness I can't seem to catch her name) the cook will say "Hey Chris! You getting the Haven Burger today?" Or something like that. They're very friendly and will chat with you if you chat with them. I'm a little shy and I hope they don't think I'm unfriendly, haha. Today, actually, (I'm writing this from inside this place) I went to pay for my meal, and the credit card machine stopped working, my card wouldn't go through. But David was like "We'll just get you next time you come in", which, is like a++ customer service in my book, and I really really appreciate it. Like, totally above and beyond. I'll probably come back tomorrow with cash and get another burger haha. But anyways, please do come in if you're like I used to be, and drive by it often without ever stopping. You'll...
