The reviews made me want to try this place. I spent most of my life in Jacksonville and ate at some extraordinary family-owned barbecue establishments. But this place matches, if not excels over some of the best. Truly a down-home barbeque experience. I won't be able to do the food enough justice on this review, so you'll just have to try it out. The business is small and tucked in with a few other businesses, and it is takeout only. If this is a problem for some, the food and staff will overcompensate for the inconvenience. I have now added SoulFull Southern Kitchen to my favorite places to go. I will not be eating at any other Bar-B-Que resturant. I am from Memphis where we are known for our Bar-B-Que and this is by far makes me think of home. I picked up a menu for myself and neighbor and I need to go get more so that I give it to all of my neighbors. If you are in the area are not that far they are worth the drive. Some of the best barbecue/ soul food I’ve had the pleasure of experiencing in my life time living in north central Florida. The gentleman at the counter was about 12 years old but he was extremely knowledgeable with his recommendations of the menu. And gave me the exact change perfectly. I tried the pulled pork sandwich and it was IMPECCABLE!!!! The fried green tomatoes were cooked to perfection. I will warn you that there isn’t really somwhere to eat inside the restaurant- but they can direct you to the nearest parks to enjoy your meal. And enjoy the meal we did.
