Iron Skillet — Restaurant in Dupont

Order the large steer chopped steak broccoli and baked potato broccoli was about 40° when I got it the potato was shriveled up prop me another microwaved potato out and recooked my broccoli in the microwave till it was crispy and unedible brought me out to hamburger patties instead of the steerburger that I ordered and told me it was the same thing because it weighed the same took the server forever to give me my receipt I had to ask another server to get her and then she took off with my card instead of ringing me up and serving other people I finally say hey can I get my card back and she brings it out I tip her $5.86 anyways even though she was very argumentative about everything the other food I saw coming out looked decent if they would have let me know they were not bringing me out what I ordered in substituting it with hamburger patties I would not have ordered it but after waiting an hour I would not have time to wait any longer for I have to leave just feel ripped off $30 for a double burger I wish I just would have refused it and walked out but after waiting 45 minutes to get it I was starving the burgers were not bad it's just not what I ordered and not what I was willing to pay that...

Dirty utensils in this restaurant. The lady gave us VERY DIRTY FORK not washed. The lady server has no sweetness in her service looks like a mad man. I gave them back the dirty packet of fork, spoon and knife. I asked why is your fork is so dirty, she said I’m sorry sweety🙄. She came back to our table and slammed the packets of disposable fork and spoon on the table close to our beverage and said in case you don’t trust our utensils. Server was Jacky at around 4:30 p.m. Still leaving $3.75 tip even though we’re NOT very happy. Also, the grilled fish is very salty and she came up to our table asking is there something wrong? Of course she knew there is something wrong. She took the very salty fish and came back with half-done fried fish not grilled! Sassy white attitude. Pancake in Mcdonalds is so much taste better. Not happy with this kind of service. we ordered off the menu, no buffet at this time which is okay! Waitresses...

This place is okay for a late night meal, the buffet is decent, the food I ordered the steak was actually surprisingly very good. However they lose alot of points on my personal review for how filthy the place was, I get that it's a truck stop not a fine dining experience but it was gross. They definitely need to do some cleaning before I'd give 4 stars. It made me actually question how dirty the kitchen might be. Also they serve generic ketchup, which is a big pet peeve of mine, spring for the Heinz totally worth it. Overall would be a good place for a late night drunken meal, and if your all alone on the holidays they are open 24/7 which not many places are anymore.
