Aroma Joe’s — Restaurant in Durham

When you order the same two drinks for the last 5 years with the LEE location you have your order down pat. I had to be in Durham today so I skipped the Lee location ( sorry Ashley and Becca) and went here. The location was slow and the two girls were just sitting around. They looked frustrated I came in. I ordered a 32 oz sugar free no ice beach bum and a 32 oz no ice blue Hawaiian like I said same order for the past 5 years EVERY MORNing. I ended up with two beach bums, and not labeled which one is sugar free… I said one was suppose to be a blue Hawaiian and the girl behind the counter rudely said “that’s not what you ordered” I told them nevermind took it and left. I would never expect this bad of respect from these franchise owners staff. Do yourself a favor skip this location and go to Lee. It’s a friendly staff and they make sure you leave happy, this place in my opinion needs to be retrained on customer service. Lesson learned...

I go to this aroma joe's like 2/3 times a day. (Ya it's bad. I know!!) the girls that work here are always so kind and sweet. They don't even have to ask what I want they just ring it up. And their coffees are always amazing as usual!!!! I came here after a two day stint in the hospital with a severe urinary trac infection. The girl that was working began making my coffee when I realized I left my money put in my car. When I came back in i handed her my money and she gave it back to me saying no hunny you had it bad this ones for you. I thought that was so sweet... you got a forever customer here...

Pretty good place to have a coffee. They have great flavors and sitting outside is nice, but the inside atmosphere is not great. It gets busy and loud so doing homework is not something most people can do. It's also connected to a Subway, which is either a bonus or a negative, depending on...
