I came down to the restaurant 30 minutes to closing and spoke with Melissa at the hostess stand. She then explained breakfast is buffet style and I could be seated anywhere I liked.
When I asked Melissa if they had turkey bacon, chicken patty or anything other then pork meat she IMMEDIATELY said NO and did not even bother to check with the kitchen so I just said “okay”. Minutes later a couple approached her and asked the same question and she responded with “we do not have” and once again did not bother to check with the kitchen. Then the woman of the couple replied by saying “I’ve stayed here before and they have done this for me in the past so can you asked in the kitchen?”.
In over hearing the conversation I ask Melissa if they have turkey in the kitchen can she place an order for me as well. Shortly after she came out with turkey for the couple and myself. I also then asked Melissa “if they had scrambled egg whites in the kitchen” once again she says “NO” without checking with the kitchen.
This is when I came across WONDERFUL DONNA and I asked her the same question about egg whites. She kindly went to the kitchen and shortly after brought me scrambled egg whites and reheated my turkey for me! 🥰
This was definitely a REFRESHING experience to come across Donna! She ended my breakfast experience with a SMILE!!
This is what hotel hospitality should be about. Going above and beyond to make the guest feel like they are at home even though they her on road.
To whom ever this may concern in F&B coach and counseling is DEFINITELY NEEDED with Melissa. Her not communicating with the kitchen on modifications for the guests and short responses is NOT go to allow your department to thrive especially being at the FRONT OF THE HOUSE! Hope this feedback helps for future guests at your...
Read moreI’ve eaten here many times and usually get to go orders. The new menu is great and I was stoked when I found y’all are on DoorDash now. The 10 spiced wings are easily in the top 3 wings I’ve ever had. The corn and crab crowder is AMAZING. They make great burgers and the Bluestone club is delicious. The apple butter really makes it stand out. Usually I’m waited on by Julian and he’s always sweet and helpful. He makes sure the sauces are right and silverware is there. Even when it’s busy, he doesn’t get frustrated or impatient and stays attentive. My ONLY issue is there’s a bit of inconsistency on the quantity of a couple of items. I’ve had 3 different quantities of wings (8, 9 and 10) for $16 and don’t even know how many it’s supposed to have. Also I’ve been served 2 different sizes of the chowder(one is about 1/2 the size of the other) but it still costs $13. I do think that’s a little steep for soup even really good soup. That can be frustrating when it’s the same price but not always same amount. Overall it’s a fantastic place to eat whether you dining in, taking out or...
Read moreVery spacious restaurant, beautiful carpet and dining area. I can only imagine what the hotel rooms would be like. I visited here on May 3rd just to take a break from my area and see something different. When I got there the Bulldogs high school reunion was wrapping up! I met an interesting fellow who was 91 years old. While I was sitting outside waiting for a friend I ask this older gentleman sitting next to me what years were they celebrating. He said they were celebrating six graduating classes from the 1930's on up. We then said our goodbyes.
When my friend arrived we went inside and sat down and ordered the ruben. When it arrived there was so much meat in that sandwich we could barely finish our plates. My friend also had a glass of wine and french fries and I had a tall drafted sweet beer and fried sweet potatoes. The food and...
