I placed to go inside to place my order as I was ordering a 16 piece family chicken meal. I normally don't order something like this through the drive through as it is rude to hold other patrons up in the drive through for such a large order. The dining room was closed, so I was forced to go through the thru. When I got up to the speaker, I told the girl I wanted a 16 piece family meal. There was silence. She came back on several seconds later and said she would have to give me more breasts and thighs because that's all she had. I said that was fine (even though it wasn't-how can a chicken place run out of chicken at 5:30pm?)! I proceeded with my 4 sides. Mashed potatoes and gravy, Mac n cheese, sweet corn, and fries. I said thank you to the lady and she answered with a less than pleasant response. I pulled up and paid. While waiting for my food, I noticed that my receipt said one of the sides was cole slaw. When the lady was about to hand me my food, I politely asked, "do you mind confirming that one of the sides is Mac n cheese and not coleslaw," to which the lady said, "that was the whole point of me repeating your order back (and something else I couldn't make out)." I couldn't believe that a worker would say that, nonetheless, repeat it to her manager that was standing near her. When the lady did come back and hand me my food, I did say, "sorry about that," to which she replied "yeah!". First, I did not hear her say cole slaw at the speaker, because I would have corrected her. Second, if there was a LCD that displayed the orders like the one inside, we wouldn't have this issue (at least, I didn't see one). Third, if inside was open, we wouldn't have all this miscommunication through the drive thru. There are less patrons that these employees are waiting on with the inside course, so the fact that this rude employee makes it seem like I'm thinking her ragid, is crazy. Lastly, the employee's manager should have reprimanded her for speaking that way to a customer. I'm a manager, and if I heard my employee speak to a customer (which, without, we wouldn't have a job), I would...
Read moreDriving GA to VA and stopped for wings. I'm writing this review because I'm not going this place anymore.
I like the KFC hot wing since 1991 when it came out, but I no longer like it because of today.
When I was in, I was not welcomed which was okay.
No line in front of me, cashier didn't pay attention to me. The other two crew were talking each other, and cashier was looking at them. So I also kept looking her face until she looked me, and she finally said "what do you want".
I asked her about the option for hot wings quantity, because I couldn't find it on their menu and she said it comes 5, 10, 20... whatever I want. So I ordered 20 pieces. She told me that I need to wait. I asked her how long and she said 10 min. I said okay.
I was going to order the drink too but she told me the total amount for wing, so I didn't order the drink since she didn't ask.(that made me to change my mind)
After about 10 min later, I saw the crew was putting my wings in the box. The last piece was almost throw in very tough. And It looks like nothing left in their food warmer. And he said in the air, 20 piece wing!!
The wing box was sitting on the prep table for 3 min even I was looking at it. Nobody brought it to me, then the cashier tossed it to me. The other customers, their order was handed from other crews as normal. But not mine.
I should open and inspect before leaving the place. I had to rush, so I just walked out and just started eating while driving, I could not even see how look like my wing. But I stopped my car at the rest area to inspect my food because I found very tiny piece of wing. I hoped no count for this small piece.
The photo is showing 3 pieces left in the box. The biggest one is regular size of the wing. I received total 19 pieces wings and 2 pieces smaller than half size if the wing. So I can tell I only received 17 pieces instead of 20. Also, the wing has too much breading, it looked more than usual to me.
So for this 17 pieces of wing, I paid with cash $17.19, almost a dollar each. I would call credit card company for money back if I use...
Read moreAbsolute trash experience. First off, I just order a side of fries and a drink, because I ate earlier, but when I go to get my drink, HALF of the drinks were 100% water or 90% carbonated water. On top of that, when I asked for a drink that I wanted (because it was all out at the machine), the worker had a terrible attitude when telling me that ALL of those drinks are out and they have no more. When we get our food, my brother checked and he had three chicken fingers instead of the four he ordered, and they did not have the dry rub sauce that he ordered them with, they were plain chicken fingers (he also didn’t get the ranch he asked for). When finally getting a worker’s attention, he yelled “y’all need to calm down,” and NONE of us did anything extra then explain the problem. When also told how it was ordered with the sauce on it, he said “oh yuh we don’t got that” (then after asking why it was on the menu if they never had it at all, he said to calm down). FINALLY the only nice worker there (supervisor/ manager), came over and refunded us. Since we already got the food. He let us keep it. The chicken absolutely SUCKED. Not to mention, my brother only got the fingers because KENTUCKY FRIED CHICKEN was out of CHICKEN LEGS. Yes, the fried bone in legs that is their main food. Absolutely terrible. Use the extra couple cents you spent on gas and go straight to Zaxbys, Chick-fil-A, Bojangles, etc on...
