My second time visited, but first time eating here, the cook was outstanding. To have the skills she has and at her age. Wow, it's been about a week now since I've had a Salmon Pattie, grits w/ cheese, scramble eggs fried hard, toast and coffee. Yum, yum I think I'll pop in tomorrow. I had the most Horrible experience.... I was ask if I wanted Chesse i said i prefer onions in my potatoes ... So the cook got em and the Chinese or VietnAmese lady and forgive me because i do not mean to offend no pens culture yells at the cook right infront of me. We dont have time for that.... This place reminds me of the local hole-in-the-wall cafeteria where I could get grits, eggs a meat and bread for under $4. All the southern staples are here. No frills or "locally sourced" riff-raff. The food is good, hardy and consistent. Sue and her husband are great personable folks who seem to know how to keep the working folk fed.
