Hardee’s — Restaurant in Durham

Normally this place is good but today it sucked. I ordered a super bacon biscuit combo with a coffee and a super sausage biscuit combo with a coffee. I received one biscuit, and two coffees and now the line is too long to get my food. I'm not coming back for at least a month. I'm hungry, and now I'm eating crackers that I left between my seat cushions.

The Bo rounds ended up being in there so I probably ordered wrong, I'm not sure but it's my fault. I'm sorry. I love you all.

I'm hungry, and I slept in late so normally today I would stop by Hardee's on my way to i-40. Since my experience yesterday I'm just worried that I won't get what I want, so I'm eating jack links beef sticks for breakfast. Now my stomach hurts.

My boycotting of this location is just about over. I think I'll give it a try again soon. Overall I reduced this location's earnings by about 180 dollars this month. That's not much and it's only a drunken estimate, but I just can't get over the fact that I didn't get my food when I needed it the most. I'm still hungry right now because I'm thinking about this event so much.

I'm thinking about stopping by tomorrow. Actually no, I'm working in carrboro tomorrow so it's probably not worth it to go out of my way. Normally I would go out of my way for good food and service, but I guess that one experience I had still haunts me in my sleep. Since the turnover rate is pretty high I'm waiting until there's new staff here before I try it again. If they offered cherry turnovers I would maybe stop by tomorrow... If they microwave it for me. I still love...

I absolutely hate doing what I'm about to do. But I've thought about it and if I'm going to truly try and review the places I visit honestly for Google then I need to be honest. So here goes. I do like Hardee's I probably eat here at least 10 or more times a year. The stores are often very dated you know like from the 80s. But the food seems to still have that authentic taste meaning I think it's real beef and real chicken and it's cooked like the diner owned by some mom-and-pop might cook it. Here's where my review becomes a little uncomfortable. I seldom dine-in when I do go to fast food places, but my daughter asked could we eat inside and I said yes. I wish I had not done this. Because we seen a roach and I'm not talking about a water Roach I'm talking about a good old tiny house slash trailer trash Roach right under the napkin holder on the table. Which led me to believe that there might be roaches inside that napkin holder because i know they like old paper. When I was a small child I lived for brief time in some housing projects "Skyway Terrace" in Maxton North Carolina. There were roaches there and I'll never forget that time in my life. Needless to say I have not been able to eat at any Hardee's since this happened. I'm writing this review almost 6 months after this happened.. Oh I should say that I often know that places like this might have roaches in the back where they cook food but this was in the lobby and I thought that can't be normal. Again I do not like leaving this review because the manager of this establishment seems to be one of the nicest hardest working managers of a fast food restaurant...

Was passing through and wanted a thick burger. Drove from Raleigh to this location passing through. I ordered two #6 combos that cost just over $9 each. Drive through operator was very polite and called the order back to us and it was correct on the screen. At the window again the attendant was polite and followed all requirements. We received the food and because we were traveling, we parked to eat in the Hardee's Parking lot. When I opened my burger it appeared to not have a beef patty on it. As I open the sandwich to verify this I see what looks to be a child's hamburger patty that was burnt. My wife checked hers and it was the same. I went into the restaurant and showed the drive through attendant and he agreed we received the wrong beef patty. A lady (I presumed to be the Manager on shift) came over looked and went to the back. She returned to my surprise with 2 beef patties on a tray and handed it to me and said this will fix it. I don't think that is in line with the safe food practices that are required for restaurants. I took the patty and asked about the cheese and condiments and was handed 2 slices of cheese the same way as I received the patties. Customers behind me was just as shocked as I was and the Counter Attendant went as far as to recommend I review this. I have never observed something like this in any chain restaurant and I assure any reader I will not return...
