Some of the best Jamaican food Iāve had in my entire life. I was raised on West Indian food coming from south Florida and couldnāt believe we stumbled upon this amazing food truck on a trip passing through North Carolina. We stopped at Bull City Ciderworks in Durham to try some ciders and as we were about to head out Irie Flavors pulled up. Mad at myself because this was the only picture I took but we ordered a bunch of things off the menu. My go to is always Brown Stew Chicken w/ Plantains, Rice & Peas. They had it so we had to try, it was tender and full of flavor. That was my only picture before we dug in. We also ordered a bunch of Beef Pattyās which were amazing! They were hand made, with the fresh scotch bonnet and a nice spice to them. An Order of The Oxtail which came with some Dumplings in the gravy also w/ Plantains, Rice & Peas.
