Service The service at Nosh is genuinely friendly and attentive. The staff is welcoming, always ready with a smile, and eager to help with recommendations. They seem to enjoy what they do, which creates a pleasant dining experience.
Food I went for their chicken wrap, and it did not disappoint! Here’s a breakdown:
Chicken Wrap: The wrap was flavorful and packed with tender, juicy chicken. It was generously filled with fresh veggies, adding a nice crunch and balance. The seasoning was on point, giving it a lovely taste without being overwhelming. Presentation: The wrap was neatly presented, making it Instagram-worthy! Sides: It came with a side of crispy potatoes that were perfectly seasoned, adding a delightful crunch to the meal.
Other Menu Highlights While I focused on the chicken wrap, the breakfast menu at Nosh features a variety of options, including classic pancakes, omelets, and breakfast sandwiches. There are also vegan and vegetarian choices, ensuring something for everyone.
Conclusion Nosh Durham is a fantastic spot for breakfast, offering delicious food with friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere. Whether you're a local or just passing through, it’s worth stopping by to enjoy a hearty meal. I’ll definitely be back to try more...

I placed an order at Nosh for an event at Duke University. I went there in person the day before to make sure there would be no miscommunications. I order 6 lunches including a "Gonzalo", insisting on the fact that there should be no cheese in it because the person is vegan. I asked for the order to be ready by 12noon and I would pick it up. The owner, Wendy, was very distracted and a bit rude (she interrupted me multiple times to run through the back area) but I thought she would handle the order. The next day, I got there at 1201pm. The order was not ready. The owner (Wendy) came to see what was happening and disappeared without saying a word. I asked the person in the pick-up area and she said "Wendy was taking care of it". Wendy came around and looked through papers so I asked her about my order. She said she "had not ringed it" and could not find the paper anymore. Good thing I still had the list of lunches I needed! I gave it to her and I had to wait 20 more minutes to get the order ready. She gave it to me without a word, never expressed any apologies for being so late and was pretty rude altogether. Of course, the "Gonzalo" had cheese in it, though I explicitly insisted on removing it, so the vegan person did not even get a lunch. It could be a nice place with a different management but I do not recommend it for catering and during lunch time in general: they are too busy for...
Read moreI decided to take my husband to lunch on his break, and he chose Nosh. When we entered noone greeted us, or even said hello. Once we figured out the ordering process, we were met with a $40.00 tab that was not overwhelming at first. We ordered the paulies pimento sandwhich, and the boo blt, a coffee, and pelligrino. The coffee was brought to the table without cream and sugar despite me requesting it when ordered. The sandwhiches arrived and I was very underwhelmed. I literally had one slice of bacon on the entire sandwhich. And what was supposed to be pimento cheese seemed more like cheddar cheese with a few pieces of pimento for flavor. There was more bread than anything. Once we finished I asked if refills were available for the coffee and she rudely shook her head. Barely acknowledging me. I donot recommend dining here as the service sets the tone and if an establishment cannot respect me as a paying customer than I will gladly take my...
