Overall Rating: 7.1/10 The restaurant impresses with its unique, culturally enriched interior and excellent service, though the pricing felt steep relative to the portions and some dish executions.

Atmosphere: 7.9/10 The well-designed and spacious layout, enriched with cultural elements, creates a pleasant dining environment. The thoughtful separation of the bar and dining areas contributes to a comfortable atmosphere, making it a delightful place to dine.

Service: 7.1/10 Service was a high point with the bartender and waitress displaying exceptional attentiveness. Their proactive approach in pouring water, swiftly bringing food, and regularly checking up ensured a seamless dining experience.

Food:

Puffer Crab Wonton: 7.2/10 These wontons are notable for their unique incorporation of curry, delivering a bold flavor that complements the extremely crispy and flaky texture, making them a standout appetizer.

Pineapple Fried Rice: 6.1/10 While fresh, the dish was somewhat bland and dry. Enhancements in seasoning and perhaps a more robust sauce could elevate this dish to match the freshness of its ingredients.

Meatball Soup: 7.9/10 The soup excelled with a bold broth that was flavorful and rich, paired with tasteful meatballs that were well-seasoned and hearty, providing a satisfying and comforting dish.

Pork Pad Thai: 7.7 Described as having fresh noodles and good-quality, tasty pork. The unique peanut crumbs added a pleasing visual and textural contrast, enhancing the overall appeal of the dish.

Value: 5.1/10 Despite the high quality and pleasant dining experience, the pricing was higher compared to similar venues, particularly noted during weekends when lunch specials were unavailable. This aspect made the meal feel less value-for-money given the quantity of food provided.

Pokémon Stops/Gyms: There are 5 PokéStops nearby, adding an extra layer of appeal for diners who are also...

Came about a year ago and had a bad time. We thought they were just understaffed and were happy to just chat and catch up with each other and so tried to be patient waiting for our food as the dining room was full. We waited 1 hour and 15 minutes before getting up to ask a server near the kitchen if our food would be ready soon because we were hungry and ready to leave, and it turned out that our orders were never printed to the kitchen :/ We wanted to walk out at that point, but they quickly made our food and added a complimentary dish of 6 potstickers for us (though I wish they had just comped part of the overall meal instead) so we just quickly ate and left quite disappointed. Food overall was nothing special.

To be fair, we probably should have gotten up to ask a server much earlier, so next time we know not to wait so long again. However, around 45 minutes of waiting, we did ask a staff member who was cleaning a table next to us about our meal, and that person told us that our food was coming soon, so obviously that wasn't true :(

Anyway, this seems like a one-off issue that occurred with us, but feedback to the staff is to actually check on all your tables. Our original waiter who took our orders never came to check on us. And no one else came by our table either to refill our waters. Overall, felt neglected at this restaurant and still paid a pricey $30 per person for an okay meal after finally getting food after 1.5...

For parking, you will either have to park in a lot or find street parking. There was plenty of street parking on N Church Street and Cleveland Street which is located right behind the restaurant.

My sister and I came in on a Friday night and we were pretty worried at first because there was a line almost out the door. But thankfully, we were seated within less than 10 minutes. We ordered the following: Thai Iced Tea Tom Kha Chicken Pad See Ew

The Thai iced tea was sweet and refreshing! As for the other 2 dishes, they were both delicious! I loved the presentation of the tom kha chicken and how the soup stayed nice and warm which is perfect for the chilly fall weather. I also appreciated how the soup was filled with mushrooms, chicken, and bamboo. And with all the lemongrass and spices used, every sip was fantastic!

Pad See Ew is always a safe/classic option when you don’t know what to order. My sister and I enjoyed this savory and satisfying noodle dish. Not to mention, the portion size is huge- we even had to take some home.

The dishes came out within 15 minutes of placing the order so I appreciate how fast and diligent the workers and cooks were despite it being so busy! Everything we ordered here was delicious and I can’t wait to...

Really great service and atmosphere! Great to see that this new place is doing well, though the servers are super busy and it seems they’re pretty understaffed. We went on a Saturday night and it was packed, but we were seated in less than 10 minutes. We really enjoyed the shumai and nam khao. As pad thai being my go-to at Thai restaurants, I was very disappointed and surprised by the tofu/veggie pad thai here, which really missed the mark for us.. It was extremely saucy, wet, and over seasoned while also not flavorful. it was just not for me and not what I had expected. Even though our server was so busy, she was really nice when we shared our feedback, and she let us know that the veggie pad thai can come out more wet and sometimes needs more time to soak up. However, for my taste, it was too sour and salty and also unlike pad thai I’ve had, with/without the wetness. I’m glad we tried this place and would maybe consider coming back trying different dishes given the great service, but most likely not, given the pad thai (also $18).
