Peel Pizza Company — Restaurant in Duxbury

My husband and I "attempted" to go to this place last week and it was an epic fail. When we first walked in, the two teenagers at the front counter were too busy playing with an iPhone to help us, so we stood there. When we finally placed our order, we told them we'd wait outside for it to be ready--they said 15 minutes. Mind you, the restaurant has two giant windows in the front, so you can very easily see the tables outside on the patio where we were sitting. After almost 30 minutes, my husband went in to find that our pizza and calzone had just been sitting there. When he brought it outside, we realized that his pizza was wrong and would need to be remade--maybe if they weren't playing on their phones they would have gotten our order right. Since my calzone would be cold by the time they remade the pizza, we told them we wanted a refund and left.

Fast forward almost a week and my husband just noticed that his card was charged anyway! I have no idea what the food tastes like, since I didn't get that far, but the customer service was awful. On Saturday evening September 23 we checked out the hours of operation for Peel in Duxbury and it said closes at 8 pm. We ordered our pizza at about 7:15. We added a substantial tip, filled out requirements; placed our order; it was confirmed; my husband went down around 7:40-7:45 to pick it up and was told the order had been canceled due to the fact they were closing. One other person was in the shop ahead of my husband who picked up her order and left. We later received an email saying our order was canceled due to being too busy. Trying to figure out what exactly happened here? We’ve lived in Duxbury for over 50 years and have never experienced anything quite like this. We decided to try Peel for a change from where we usually order pizza’s amongst other things but you can be sure after this rude service we won’t be going back to Peel anytime soon. Ordered wings pizza and salad. The driver forgot my salad, offered to go back and get it. I decided against it since it would have taken a bit to go there and back. I opted for a refund.
