Before I start I would like to say that I'm a server myself so I understand the annoyance ofguests coming in hour before we close with that said I called at 10:55 to place an order for to go I was told that they stopped taking to gos a half hour before they close we clarified that they close at 11:30 I then asked if I could just order chips and salsa that's all my to-go order was going to be once again I was told that they cannot take to go orders a half hour before they close so I still have 5 minutes to spare yes I will be petty and bring up the five minutes that I still had and he explains to me why their policy is the way it is once again I understand I mention the chips and salsa he said to come in and place the order inside but over the phone they cannot take it so I get there I was already there actually by the time I spoke with her manager and the servers are talking chit chatting they make eye contact with me and no one comes over I wait patiently and finally say excuse me I'm told to hold on no one turns around to look at me I just hear a voice say hold on I asked about my to go and the person it's actually the bartender bagging up a to go for another cast she looks over at another server and asks them to take my to go that server asks another female to take my to go who look at a mail server standing there and demands he take it now a fourth server to take my to go and i said it's just chips and salsa one of the girls who already passed me up says oh I can do that I said no I looked at the 4th server who was going to do it and I said if you could just do it so I could tip you like I said I'm a server and I definitely understand what their mind said was and now because of that I will never go there again I know that they're all lazy except for the server that took my to go whether they liked it or not they were still on the clock they were still open and their customer service was awful ....no wonder...
Read moreWas seated in the bar promptly. Manager greeted us. Waitress took beverage order which is when we asked if they could turn the music down a bit. She said yes, but must have forgotten - didn’t get turned down. Asked the hostess if we could be seated on the other side where music wasn’t as loud. She did. Waited about 5 minutes a waitress asked if we needed something to drink wherein we advised her we had our drinks. She asked if we had a waitress. We explained why we moved and weren’t sure if the first waitress would be waiting on us. She had a total attitude. Told is she’d have to check. Finally came back and asked if we were ready to order. We weren’t because if we ended up with the second waitress with a horrid attitude, and the attitude didn’t improve, we were paying for our drinks and leaving. In the meantime, the manager goes by again and asks if all was good and we told him what was going on and at that point we’re wanting to pay for our drinks and leave. He told us he’d sit is elsewhere and give us a different waitress. We really didn’t want to move a third time so the waitress came to us. She came by and we told her we needed a minute to decide on what we were eating. About fifteen minutes later, she still hadn’t come back so we left.
I’ve been a waitress for the past 13 years and never have I treated anyone as poorly as we were treated at Chili’s in Dyer. My cousin was a flight attendant and if she ever had the attitude our waitress did, she would have been unemployed! Was the waitress overworked? Possibly but had she had a better attitude, the outcome may have been different. We would have understood and...
Read moreBeen there quite a few times. No matter alone or with friends - the service was pretty much awful. Food by itself and bad quality can be saved by nice service, but obviously employees over there do their best to make it a complete disaster. Been with a friend last time in that restaurant month ago, but it was like yesterday how pure experience it was and why I ended with that place forever. The young tattooed lady served us (unfortunately I forgot the name), it was Sunday noon, we ordered couple of soups, and as a main course fish without certain sauce over the top and glass of tap water (myself) and glass of soda water (my friend's). She only brought us the right soup. When I answered what I would like to drink with "glass of regular water" she made facial expression like I killed her whole family and repeated my words. at the end she brought two soda waters, and added them on the receipt. Fish was another disaster with all sauces on the top and we asked particularly for plain one and got admittance that it will be plain. I payed for all, didn't leave a tip (first time ever in my life), and was closer than ever to go and complain for the first time ever in my 33 years of life. My friendly advice to people who work there as servers... or wherever - try some asocial jobs...
