After years of not having a Sanfratellos Pizza (most recently the indy blvd. location which closed a few years ago) we decided to order from the Dyer location first time ever for pick-up for a family gathering 9/5/21. After reading all the reviews which seemed mixed we still went on with our order a family & medium sized cheese& sausage and a large antipasto salad with dressings on the side. We phoned in our order at 4 when they opened and asked to have it ready by 5 it actually was ready by 5:10 but that didn't matter. It came out piping hot in nice to go boxes and the salad was a nice size for 4-5 people. We asked for dressings on the side french, ranch, and their awesome garlic. There was more than enough dressing given in Styrofoam containers. The anticipation came with opening the box and trying the pizza after the short ride back to the house and smelling it fill the car as if we were in the restaurant. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. It was as good as always but i think it was better than when it was in the indy blvd. location. Ill say it reminded me of the days when they were on 45th st and darn near the same as when in its original Glenwood Illinois location. It looked and tasted exactly the same. The sausage the cheese the right amount of sauce and that crispy edge crust were phenomenal. Brought back memories. The pizza was cut perfect no problems taking a slice out. We always thought this was just a take out location but we were surprised to find they have a nice cozy dine in area that we will definitely return for. We were so glad we ordered today. Thank You to the Sanfratellos crew for still serving an...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCanāt rate the food quality at all, do to us getting up and leaving. 5:15 pm. Walked in , 5 open booths 3 open table. Started good getting seated at the booth of choice. Table busier brought out clean plates, utensils and that was it. No water, no waiter or waitress. After 5 minutes still no server. At this point in time 6 people walk in, get seated , served water, server takes drink orders and appetizers orders. Apparently we sat in the area where the staff was a no show to work. So we leave . I call to talk with the manager and she did apologize for no service, she was waiting tables and trying to manage. I asked why you would seat anyone knowing you have staff issues and not say anything. She agreed , apologized again and said she needs to reconsider about telling dinners up front. So in honesty, service sucked and genuinely canāt rate the food. Managers name was Vanessa. She was sincere , maybe the owner should be there to help...

This is my favorite pizza, I used to go to Glenwood as a kid. The past year this place has gone down hill. Every menu has holes in it, like someone took a bite of it. There is one server always. No bartender. The host was prob 16 yrs old, and I stood at the door to get sat for 5 mins as this kid walks around drinking water, walking into the kitchen... Even makes eye contact, but never come to acknowledge me. The one server they had sat me. I asked if I was invisible since he wouldn't come talk to me. She clearly agreed with me he was pretty useless. This is sad to say but I may go back to...
