My family ate at Dickies today. It has been awhile so I was looking forward to it. I got the 2 meat combo. I chose ribs and beef brisket. I noticed that the ribs they gave me were from the end of the rack and very small. After we all got our food and sat down to eat, I compared my ribs to 2 of my daughters. Mine (the dad's) were tiny wimpy things with hardly any meat on them. I brought my plate and one of my daughters up to the two guys working at the counter and showed them. I asked….. "What seems to be the difference here?" One of them looked and said…. "Those have more sauce on them." I replied, "No, look at the size difference and how puny these ones are." They both looked at each other not having a clue what to say. One quietly said to the other guy, "Should we give him a few more ribs?" I turned and walked away to sit down. I wanted to see what would happen. Absolutely nothing! They never apologized or came out to the table. The Owner/manager had just left so I couldn't complain to him. (They weren't even busy. I can see why it was dead in there on Sunday at 12:30pm.) The sad thing is that this was the 2nd time this has happened to me there. The 1st time the guy (someone else) thought the ribs they gave me looked pathetic and he offered to give me a few more to make up for the tiny end cut. One other note to this recent experience is that my wife got a small piece of paper (wrapper) (about 1/2" square) in her sandwich. Another complaint is that they put your meat on the plate 1st, then prepare the french fries (if ordered) which takes a little time. By the time you pay your meat is starting to get cold. I will be calling the owner tomorrow. **I called and talked to the owner today. He agreed that they should have thrown out the small ribs or just threw them in with the center ribs I should have gotten. Although he seemed pretty nice, he didn't apologize. I would have thought he would have at least "offered" to send a coupon for something. Once again, probably why they weren't that busy....
Read moreMy first experience at Dickeys Barbecue Pit and it did not disappoint! It was literally phenomenal! I can't wait to go back! I ordered the brisket and the turkey with sides of Mac and cheese and fries. The meal also comes with a dinner roll. Just walking into the store... the heavenly and savory barbecue fills the air. The brisket was SO tasty and tender and I loved adding their barbecue sauce to it. So much flavor!!! The turkey literally melted in your mouth- so tender and moist. I couldn't decide which one I liked better- both delicious. The waffle fries were freshly made with our order. Mac and cheese was so good! I ordered lemonade in their signature yellow plastic cup that will definitely be used again by my college age son! The employees were efficient and friendly. All employees wore masks. There was room in the store for social distancing as well. They do take- out, curbside, and delivery. The price is so reasonable, I was surprised actually because the food is so amazing! Great value. Go enjoy Dickey's sometime soon. I will definitely eat that delicious food again in the future! And I would certainly consider their catering in the future as well! Good...

Each bite of their signature brisket was a tender embrace of flavors, melting effortlessly on my tongue, while the rich, smoky essence danced gracefully in my mouth.
The sides were no less enchanting. The creamy mac and cheese was a delicate whisper of comfort, each spoonful a gentle caress to my taste buds. And oh, the barbecue beans! They were like a passionate serenade, a complex melody of sweet and spicy notes playing in perfect harmony.
Even the ambiance of Dickey's played its part in this sensual culinary experience. The rustic decor, with its warm hues and wooden textures, created an intimate atmosphere that paired beautifully with the feast before me.
In every aspect, Dickey's BBQ Pit seduced my senses, leaving me in a state of blissful satisfaction. This is not just a meal; it's a love affair with barbecue, a tender and fiery romance that I am eager to rekindle with...
