Review of Papa John's Pizza:
My recent experience at Papa John's was utterly disappointing and frustrating. I visited the store to grab dinner for my family and was initially greeted warmly by the cashier, who informed me of a wait time of around 35 to 45 minutes. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse when I tried to pay with a $100 bill, only to be told that they have a local policy of not accepting bills of $100 or even $50 due to past issues with counterfeit money.
Unfortunately, I had left my phone at home and didn't have any cards with me for easy payment, and I had my two younger children with me. Despite my understanding, I had to leave to find change for the bill, which took me around 10 minutes. Upon returning to the store to pay, I was dismayed to find out that the cashier had misplaced my order and had to re-enter it into the system, further wasting our time.
To add insult to injury, when I finally managed to get change, I was given a $50 bill that the pizzeria also refused to accept. Despite my plea to allow payment with the $50 bill since it was close to the total, the manager adamantly refused, citing their policy once again. This forced me to leave once more to exchange the bill, wasting even more time.
When I returned, I requested the cashier to call a manager to expedite my order since the cash issue had delayed it significantly. However, instead of showing any willingness to assist, the manager bluntly stated that it wouldn't be fair to others to prioritize my order. He even went as far as being condescending, pointing out their policy sign as if I couldn't read or was foolish.
Feeling increasingly frustrated and disrespected, I asked the manager to leave and decided to continue with the cashier who had been polite throughout. It was clear that the manager's attitude was more about asserting dominance rather than resolving the issue and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Despite not raising my voice or resorting to insults, I was shocked when the manager instructed me to leave and refunded my money. This was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever encountered. I couldn't even enjoy the pizza, as my family and I were left hungry and disappointed.
While I love Papa John's pizza, this experience has left a sour taste in my mouth. From now on, I'll be avoiding this particular store and opting for Domino's, which not only provided better service but also proved to be more economical. It's a shame that a manager would allow personal biases or a superiority complex to ruin the dining experience for...
Read moreSo today they were very busy and understandably the wait was long. My pizza took an hour after the scheduled time to be done however that's not the reason I feel this experience was subpar. Shortly after I arrived at the store another gentleman was trying to read what orders were being prepared. Unable to read the screen from the distance he was at he took out his phone and used his zoom to read the screen. Around 30 seconds later a red haired male employee came out of the kitchen yelling at the man. The man explained what he was doing however the employee wouldn't listen and was being very unreasonable. The employee never asked the customer to leave. The employee then called the police. Later 4 sheriff's deputies showed up escorted the customer out of the store than had to wait with the customer for his pizza to be done outside. Instead of staying in the kitchen and doing his job to get orders out faster he decided to waste time yelling at someone for something that could have been either ignored or said to the customer in a polite way. What an absolute joke however the rest of the staff were awesome and the employee that was helping all the customers tonight was awesome stayed super positive and had a smile on her face even though I'm sure she was in a very...
Read moreThis location of Papa John’s is an absolute disgrace and joke for name Papa John’s. You cannot call in an order and have the person in the call center quote you 15 minutes when in reality it’s over an hour wait. That’s indeed what I did called and placed an order. They told me 15 to 20 minutes. I waited 20 minutes there was zero standing room in the lobby to even get someone to help me. DoorDash order people taking up every single square inch of the lobby. Finally person then told me 20 more minutes . I came back in an additional 20 minutes 40 total, and they told me it still hadn’t been made yet another 20 minutes, at least. This is an absolute joke and disgrace of a way to run a company. I’m sure no management or anyone that has any authority will see this review and zero changes will be made like most companies that get bad reviews nothing happens. At he very least don’t give your business to this location it’s ran like an absolute circus. The worker there didn’t offer me any kind of refund or any gift cards or any discount just told me there’s nothing she could do. Horrible customer service zero training for employees and zero knowledge of how to interact and talk...
