My experience of going here has consistently gotten worse over the last year or so. Just now I went in to get a sandwich for lunch, and had my - by FAR - worst experience. The line had 5 people and took 10 minutes to get through, due to constant talking and goofing off and overall incompetence. The girl on meats was fine, she gave me correct meat and cheese portions spread out nicely, she cit the bread evenly and overall was going at a decent pace. However, it all fell apart when the buddy I was with and I got over to the veggies. My buddy works at subway and had for 2 years, so he is aware that when Subway gets specialty sandwiches employees are notified on what comes on a standard build of the sandwich. However, when he asked the girl on veggies for the specialtt sandwich (a ciobatta, if I recall correctly) to be made to order, she looked at him super confused and after repeating himself she asked him what comes on it. That should be the employee's job, not the customer. When listing the stuff off, my buddy asked for 2-3 banana peppers, and she proceeded to put on a handful. He repeated himself, she removed ONE pepper, and proceeded to ask him for the sauces. After that disaster of an interaction, it was time for me to get veggies on my own sandwich. I asked her for olives; nothing extra, thus implying I only wanted the normal amount of olives; and she proceeded to put on a massive handful of olives, like before with the yellow peppers. I then asked for vinagarette, she reached for the red vinegar, and even after attempting to correct her she ignored me and put the red vinegar on rather than the vinegarette. The experience was overall pretty frustrating and I hope that these sort of issues are sorted out in the...
Read moreWorking at Subway has been an incredibly disappointing experience, filled with broken promises, unfair compensation, and ethical failures. I was initially led to believe that I would be promoted to a managerial position, only to realize that it was a deceptive tactic to exploit my hard work and dedication. I found myself shouldering the responsibilities of a manager, all while being paid a mere $12 per hour. This exploitative practice left me feeling undervalued and underappreciated for my efforts. What is even more distressing is the complete neglect for employee safety and well-being. The management failed to report an employee who engaged in inappropriate behavior with a minor. The lack of action and accountability in this matter raises serious concerns about the management's commitment to the safety of their employees and customers. Not to mention the employe was offering drugs to minors as well. Moreover, the overall work environment at this Subway location was toxic and demoralizing. Employees were consistently overworked, with little regard for work-life balance. It is disheartening to witness such disregard for the well-being of those who contribute to the success of the establishment. In conclusion, my time at this Subway location has been marked by deceitful practices, unfair treatment, and ethical lapses. it’s simply unacceptable. Additionally, the failure to address and report the inappropriate actions of an employee displays a severe lack of responsibility. I strongly advise others to reconsider working at or supporting this Subway branch, as their practices and values fall far short of what one would expect from a reputable...
Read moreI had a pretty terrible experience with this subway. It was a combination of the corporate online ordering system and the employees there. My team at work ordered sandwiches online (separate orders supposed to be ready about the same time) and a coworker picked them up. Due to dietary restrictions I ordered the veggie patty wrap with extra avocado . When my teammate went to pick up my order, the store hadn't contacted to let me know that the veggie wrap wasn't available, so they had my payment but no food for me. By that time I was in a meeting, so my friend asked if I wanted something else. Again, dietary restrictions so I would have had to hunt around on the menu again for something that would work. So for the sake of simplicity, I said to just give me the wrap with all of the ingredients listed but with extra extra avocado. My exact words were "all the avocado." when I got my food, zero avocado. So not only did I pay for extra for avocado, it arrived with no avocado on it at all. I spent $8.35 for what amounted to a lame, no-dressing house salad wrapped in a tortilla (lettuce, spinach , tomato, onion, green peppers). After contacting the store and corporate for a refund, no action was taken. Might as well just donate your $9 directly to your local neighborhood predator and skip the phoned-in service, food, and online ordering process altogether. I can't stress this enough: they...
