We were passing through on our trip and we saw this Carl's Jr up on the side Hill look convenient to get to off the highway and have a stretch and a quick something to eat. I wasn't expecting much because it's Carl's Jr right well upon entering the facility I was impressed it was a modern lobby and clean. All the associates were cute and I say cute because most of them looked very young but very professional. My wife and I ordered up our food and proceeded to find somewhere to sit, I felt a little nervous and expressed to my wife that we might be waiting here for a bit because we noticed that we came possibly right at lunch time crunch this was a Monday, we could see the drive-thru line rocking and rolling, but two are surprised our food came out very quickly and we proceeded to have a nice lunch. I must confess it's been quite a few years since I've been back to a Carl's Jr just haven't had the need to but I remember as a Young Man ordering the onion rings and they were awesome so I ordered some onion rings to go and boy I wish I would have got a large they didn't disappoint I don't know if they should call onion rings or like sweet little circle breaded thingamajiggers, just got past the produce inspection in California on I-5 when I thought to myself man I wish I had some more Carl's Jr...
Read moreIf you're craving Carl's Jr do yourself a favor and keep on driving. I believe there's another one further down Crater Lake Hwy headed into Medford. Although the service was friendly and relatively fast I couldn't help feeling like I was interrupting a Jr. High production of an off off OFF Broadway play written, produced and directed by the very teens that were also starring in it! The chicken waffle sandwich was slopped together & poorly wrappped but tasted great regardless. The strawberry milkshake had me baffled for quite sometime though. The new smaller size for a larger price milkshake is already dissapointing so having to guess the flavor on top of this is frustrating & annoying. In good lighting I could see there was a very very faint pink tint to it but nothing about it tasted of strawberries. In fact I'm fairly sure it tasted like a very very muted vanilla. Almost $10 for a piece of pre-fried chicken in middle of 2 very very small waffles with a splash of maple sryup that just barely made it on there judging from its awkward position on the side of the chicken and an undetermined milkshake-like drink. Wont be visiting this...
Read moreEvery once in awhile I get weak and crave a fast food cheeseburger, and with Carls Jr Eagle Point being the only show in town, I talk myself into it with thoughts like “maybe if I just get the simple cheeseburger, or maybe if I go inside it will be better.” Yeah, no. I’m promptly reminded why this has to be the worst fast food joint in Southern Oregon. Granted it’s fast food, and you’ve already decided to part ways with your dignity. The burgers are always over cooked and drenched in whatever sauce they come with. They come out of the wrapper looking like they just went 12 rounds with Mike Tyson, and the fries are either perfect or perfectly still frozen. Save your money, go make a PB&J at home… at least you know what...
