I enjoy this business and I come once a week but there are some things that could be fixed. I have been here on several occasions where you have ran out of cups, club soda, chicken, lotus flavors and aƧai base. While, I understand this is hard But for club soda and chicken, you are about a mile from the store and you could easily go pick it up. Another solution to this would be when you are running low then you can order some or go pick more up. Also when you are out of a certain size of cups you should not make the customer pay for a larger size when it is your problem that you are out. It is not okay for you to make me pay for something when I want a smaller size. If you are out of a aƧaĆ base then you should explain to the customers that it is on back order and you can’t get it ln. I come in here and order on the special menu and you are out of some flavors. When you have a special menu, you should order more than you need. As you know it’s going to get ordered and you don’t want to run out. I have ordered hot coffee for my mom and whenever she gets it, it is never warm. She likes her coffee hot and won’t get coffee from here Because it is never warm. There have been times that I have ordered food, and my bacon hasn’t been cooked or I’ll get a chicken wrap and there’s hardly any chicken. If you guys are out of something or have an unexpected kitchen closure you need to put a sign on the door so your customers are aware and not angry! When the owners are in they don’t ever seem to be very happy and are only nice when they know you. Otherwise they are outright rude to people. I will continue to come in to this place when there are people I know working, but when this happens it is very disappointing and makes me not want...

I was hoping the new place would compare to the previous coffee shop that was there before called Blend. Have been going there since they opened. That place was top notch: excellent food (homemade soups, chili, and stews), great menu, great atmosphere ( cozy), very welcoming and just an overall good vibe. The owners made you feel welcome and you could sense they put a lot of love into their coffee shop. I would have thought the new owners would have at least tried to replicate that recipe for success even if they had a different aesthetic. Unfortunately that is not the case. Menu is sub par, food is below sub par, coffee average, and don’t get me started on the hours... open at 5 am until 2?I imagine a big portion of business will be tourists.... meaning foot traffic. How many stores around this place are open at 5 am? Probably none. I am not a local but have a cottage here and come up frequently. I went out of my way to go to Blend often because of what they offered. I would place a heavy bet that my sentiments are similar to other non locals which I’m sure will /or do make up a significant portion of business. Losing Blend was a great loss to downtown Eagle River. I hope the new owners reflect on this and at least make an effort to up their game or I don’t see how they will survive...especially when McDonalds is down the road and has flavored coffee and a better breakfast for...

I can not say enough good things about this coffee shop. The atmosphere and the music when you walk in give such good vibes. The range of coffee specials available are my favorite part! They always have such a unique ā€˜specials’ list and it’s always so hard to decide out of them all. From fresh cold brew, lattes, matcha, and their amazing lotus!! And they even have sweet cream cold foam! (Any flavor you want) Aside from that, the staff is very friendly and work fast and effectively. If there is a mistake on their end they don’t hesitate to make sure it gets fixed. Staff is also very good when it comes to finding a drink you may like; they always have great recommendations to figure out something thats just perfect! I have also had good experiences when it comes to the food! The breakfast sandwiches are so so good, especially when they give multiple choices when it comes to cheese! I would also recommend the wraps! Very good. Honestly if I were to complain about one thing it would be how long the line is sometimes… but that’s because this coffee shop is so amazing. So it is worth...

The daily grind has its ups and downs. I remember one year going and getting a matcha that cost $8 and it was purely just the foam. Really disappointed. But other times they have great lattes! And honestly their food is really good. Last time I went I got an egg and cheese sandwich on an English muffin and it was simple and perfect. My sister got the avocado toast and I had a bite and was honestly wishing I got that too. Pretty good food wish, I think the drinks are a little expensive for the quality but overall pretty good

Like many others, the family cabin is off the grid with no internet connection. Have been longing for a modern coffee shop in Eagle River and the Daily Grind didn't disappoint for a couple hours of work. If you're from Madison/Milwaukee and are a fan of Collectivo then you're in luck as that's what is brewed here. The little stove heater in the back corner with the couch and a handful of card and board games was also a nice touch for some community on our cold winter days!

I was in town on business and stopped in to grab a latte, lunch and work a little. The atmosphere is nice and the food is delicious. I had the deluxe avocado toast and it was delicious! I highly recommend it!!! The flavor is amazing! It was served with a side of apples. Yes please! As a business traveler that lives on the road I get tired of the same old junk. This was such a nice surprise find. I’m so glad I found The Daily Grind!
