My sign was my memory malfunctioning, i had to call to change my information. I had passcode mindwipe😂. I was making a phone call outside when staff came out to ask me to leave, luckily i responded in spanish letting them kno i wanted my food to go. Yall, I wanted some mexican food but Taco Villa does it better. This restraunt is similar to a Costa Vida nothing like a Taco Villa. Even still Taco trucks do way better in Boise. Guys, it doesn't cut it in a pinch either i couldnt finish the meal. I ordered nachos, and bean & cheese burrito, i asked for salsa and they told me it's an extra charge but graciously gave a tiny portion. Salsa is similar to store bought salsa, the second smaller salsa was spicy but had no seasoning or other flavors.(At least make it overly spicy to negate the lack of flavor.) Beans were the plainest beans with black pan grease that didn't add to taste. The meat was supposed to beef but tastes like saucy seasoned pork. The guacamole had no seasoning, Deltaco has better guacamole. This is not restraunt Texmex but if ur drunk enough it might be mistaken for Texmex. As a former Texan myself, im acclimating as best I can. But i was disappointed here tho.. A food truck I do recommend around Boise is El Apache and their spicy is so spicy it burns everywhere...and the beef...
Read moreA friend of mine recommended Pueblo Lindo to us. I believe it just recently opened. There is another location in Meridian on Eagle. This location is located off Edgewood at the east end of State St. in Eagle.
Today, Saturday, myself, my wife, and our daughter came about 1:15 pm. The place was very busy but we were sat in a tight booth right away. I think the next time we would ask for a table.
Our server was Diana, and she did an excellent job of taking care of us. She was pleasant, professional, and attentive.
First off, the chips and salsa are very good. My wife ordered the mole enchiladas, my daughter ordered the enchiladas al carbon, and I ordered the seafood enchiladas. In addition, my daughter and I had a hazy IPA. A lot of Mexican restaurants don't have craft beer or IPAs, so this was a bonus.
The food was delicious, the service great, and the atmosphere was festive. A little too loud to have a relaxing conversation, in my opinion, but I would solved that by coming during the less busy times (We are retired).
Pueblo Lindo has shot to the head of the line as our go-to Mexican restaurant. We...
Read moreDON'T WASTE YOUR TIME, GO TO TACO BELL INSTEAD! We were in a large group, but they dedicated one waitress who was aided by 2 busboys and THE MANAGER. I speak Spanish, I ordered in Spanish, waitress obviously a native speaker. She messed up half my order. They gave me 10% off the bill. I got a drink and we all got a small glass of water. I was not offered a second drink and mine was empty when meal arrived. Everyone else got a second drink except one person who's glass was still mostly full. She filled everyone's water glass but mine. Someone at our table noted I was neglected, offered me her water! Well below average food, heinous service, don't come thirsty! When I complained, the waitress said " Not my fault, I put it in correctly." She served my plate! It was in every way her fault. Not to mention, before bringing the check, maybe she should have checked on me. I'm sorry I even paid for the meal! Just day NO! Pueblo Lindo, you need to provide your waitresses a copy of the basic job description for the...
