Taco Bell — Restaurant in East Alton

I will be calling corporate since the manager James refused to give me his supervisor’s name. The last time I visited I had an issue with my drink (it tasted like it needed to be changed) so I asked for a different one. He said he had just had one and it tasted fine as what I said didn’t matter. He proceeded to give me something different but it was off as well. I just told him it was ok and left. I could tell he was aggravated. This visit I decided to taste the fries with my tacos. The fries were cold so I went around (drive -thru) to have them replace as well as to add an order because I could tell they would be good if they were fresh. He told me that I would have to go back around (behind 3 other cars) in order to get fresh fries. I explained to him my tacos would be could by then. He said you can eat your tacos now. I said I want to eat my tacos with my fries when I get home. I said you can have the whole order back and replace the tacos as well if I have to go back around, I would need everything fresh. He refused so I told him to take the food and give me my money. He said he couldn’t take the food but refunded me. I had to ask his name 3 times before he would give it and he REFUSED to give me his supervisors name. If my fries were served cold why do I have to go back around to get fresh fries. They should of been served hot the 1st time. I said I would go back around but he would have to replace the whole order so everything would be fresh. I can’t believe he told me I could eat my tacos now. This man is terrible in customer service! I know it’s hard to find employees these days (I’m a business owner) but to settle is...

There's a homeless encampment behind the Taco Bell and I understand that they're worn down from them panhandling.. when I walked in they were all having a discussion it was negative very negative about homeless people.. I asked to charge my scooter that I was riding on... And I was told know it may start a fire and was looked at what I took not in a good way.. and this is one of the Taco bells with all the extra outlets for laptops and all other things at the tables and this is affordable mini scooter.. I felt like I was being grouped with the homeless when it came to me being polite and asking. Just not a good way to treat paying customers and not a appropriate conversation they were having out in the open so the whole restaurant could hear....

Had a great experience. My husband is allergic to cinnamon and I told them that the cinnamon twists needed to be in a different bag but when I got it it was on top spilled over all the food wrappers. But when I went to get it fixed they immediately took care of it and made his whole order again with no argument or fuss. I was not mad about the mistake bc it happens all the time at fast food places bc there is no button to put things in separate bags and they were busy.
