B R Cavern — Restaurant in East Alton

Great place to get stabbed. Bartenders always cater to the regulars and seem to always have rougher clientele. Weird dynamic behind the bar as there has always been a dude kind of guarding the female bartender. Red flag? Yeah, the five or six times I've been here in the last 4 years has NOT been a comfortable experience. You walk through the door alone or with friends and leather jackets and vests turn to stare and intimidate. To top it off, the whole place is like that bar in Pee Wee's Big Adventure except when you leave, you don't have new biker friends. Never had an issue or anything the few times I've went and will never spend money here again. Seriously, avoiding this place like it's Covid is a good suggestion. Clean. Friendly.inviting environment. Bartenders always great you upon entering, very accomadating. They interact with their customers. Positive,high frequency inviroment. I mainly go to play the slot machines. Never had any drama or problems. Just a all around...

Bathrooms lack privacy, as they need much updating. Slots are often open for play. Plenty choice of drink, this is not a dress up bar, or a good place for a date. After work bar, lots of older people. Not a younger...
