Culver’s — Restaurant in East Bay Township

We were looking for a nice, simple place to get lunch for the family before leaving Traverse City. Culver's is a great option for everyone to eat something they like. We showed up with 10 people, so it took some time to find seating for everyone. It wasn't too hard to find or wait for seats near each other during the peak hours of lunch time.

With 10 people, we had a really big order. I want to thank the cashier, Garrett for doing a fantastic job at taking our order and even helping us get everything we needed. He handled it perfectly! When our food came, all of it arrived together, without anything missing. I did notice Garrett working hard afterwords, changing the ketchup, cleaning tables and even helping with the drive-thru customers. I appreciate his hard work.

Guy at the take out window was extremely rude and having a melt down on us. Had watery milkshakes given to us and he slammed the window on us and would keep his back to us. He ignored us until we had to tap on the window and when he opened it finally, we told him the milkshakes were like water. He took the shakes and said "not thick enough for you?" And threw them across the room into a garbage. Slammed the window when his manager? came up. We don't know what was said but no opology was given, no explanation was given, kept his back to us until someone gave him two new thick milkshakes. He handed them to us and closed the window. Meanwhile our meal got cold, it was late, when we got to our hotel, couldn't even eat half of the meal. And to think, CULVERS WAS OUR...

The only reason service gets less is because the first time I went with my mom they forgot to give her mayo for her gluten free burger, the buns are known to be a little dry so she ended up having to use ranch which was not what she wanted. The second time we went they did forget to give her her coffee, we did stop and head back inside for that though as she needed something to warm her up. Apparently the girl that was bringing food out was new and didn’t know how to do it, but the older gentleman working was very kind and helpful and even put a cup under the coffee drip so my mom didn’t have to wait as long.
