I wish I had read these reviews before I decided to stop this morning. Denny's is a National Brand and this location looks new. I went with what I know. My son and I stopped for breakfast before we made the trip downstate.. Many tables should have been available, however it appeared that they couldn't get them cleaned , so it took about 10 minutes to get the few groups in the lobby seated. As I sat down, I looked at the woman who would end up being our waitress and she snapped at me. "I'll be there as soon as I can"..... I was a little taken back by the tone, but assured her it was fine...."no issues". About 10 minutes passed and she came over to take our "drink order". We we're ready so we put our meal order in as well.......and then we waited.....and waited ....and waited ...and waited.... just like the rest of the reviews .....there was very little interaction , no explanations and what seemed like no concern. After 45 minutes I complained, and asked what could possibly take so long . I sent her back to the kitchen for an explanation. Another waitress returned and tried to explain that my "ticket" was 2 down in the que, and that the expected to start MAKING IT! In about 5 minutes..... My son and I stood up and walked out..... we had had enough. We were followed out by two other groups....who also were leaving without being served ..... we hit a drive through and braved the storm.
Denny's needs to go over these reviews, contact the franchise owners and protect their Brand. This location needs a complete reset of the staff.... and much much better training. Whoever is running that place needs...

From the way the kitchen runs to the management, the restaurant is horrible. I began working here on October 28th of 2016 and on the date I ordered shoes through the companies partner, Shoes for Crews. My first paycheck had a charge withdrawn of $80, and still I have not received the shoes I paid for. I've asked for over a month and a half now for a refund, and only very recently I was given a 1 877 number to payroll (after being promised a cash refund) to jump though more hoops to try and get my refund. Every single check I received from the company has both been late AND short, which when addressed to the owner I was completely disregarded. Beyond this I had many scheduling issues, horrible treatment from my management, and a complete lack of respect for myself and other servers. As a customer, I also must in fact say this restaurant is a disgrace. I am currently sitting with my family for a New Years breakfast and we have a rude server by the name of Jami, who neglected to greet us after being seated 20 minutes prior. After taking an order for drinks, we waited another 15 minutes to receive the drinks, (my sisters cup was filthy on arrival), and yet another 20 to have our order taken. Wait times on food currently are exceeding an hour and 10 minutes, so we have yet to see how the food is. Prior visits have provided cold food and similar service, so hopes...
Read morethe food was amazing and i am glad you guys are here and will come many more times but we waited at least 15 minutes after getting sat, to get helped as well as the other big top next to us. Although the other big top that got there after us was helped before we were. we were told several times we would get helped and i had to ask to get helped. our first waitress,Tara, took our drink orders and after telling her we were ready to because have been there a while, she basically denied and would be back with drinks first and came back after 15 minutes and said she will be back with drink, with a snappy attitude. She never came back or helped us after seeing her wait on other tables or to apologize for anything. I am a waitress myself and i have just happen to get off of work and go over here. I would never treat customers how she treated us. we did not give her a hard time we were trying to be patient and just try to get our delicious food. But the unlikable was how she treated another table and apologized and took better care of that came later after we got there. Love the place and food but our service was terrible at first and our first time to a Denny's. the other big top had called a manager over but we didn't call a manager over.
