My husband and I ordered lunch through the app and went through the drive through to pick it up. We were told we’d have to come inside to get our order. I explained that we had a baby in the truck and asked if they could just give us our food through the window, but they repeated that we would have to come inside to pick up our food. As we drove around, there were NO cars in the drive through. When my husband went inside, he asked about the requirement to come inside but was given no reason for the request. The point of mobile ordering is the customer’s convenience. It makes ZERO sense to make customers get out of their vehicles to come inside to pick up a takeout order. If I had been alone in my truck with my sleeping newborn without my husband present, this would have required me to completely unload my baby to needlessly go inside and pickup the lunch I had already paid for. If there is a logical reason for this is policy, I would love to know it. I find it completely RIDICULOUS. If it is not actually a policy, then these employees provided pitiful service and need to be corrected. I have lots of options for where to spend my hard-earned money, and this experience didn’t inspire me to want to give more to...
Read more7:15 ish pm on a Friday evening. 3-17-2023, no one in the drive through or the lobby, we chose to go inside as one of us needed to use the restroom. The lack of business should have been an indication but passing through and seeing Elijay is a small town we quickly realized our options were limited. We ordered for ourselves and a 6 piece chicken for our dogs. 27ish dollars later my curly fries were cold, the roast beef was grossly over cooked and super salty. I asked for shredded lettuce to be informed they were “out”. My husband ordered a chicken sandwich that I am certain was prepared hours ago as well as the nuggets for my dogs. The only thing that was fresh-ish was the cheese sticks and there seemed to be some debate over some being “set-up” or prepared earlier which with the rest of our experience left me to believe had the cook found the old ones we would have gotten cold cheese sticks… Our cashier was totally void of personality but got the job done I guess. My take away from this is avoid Arbys in Elijay, as it appeared everyone else in...
Read moreI am from Tennessee and was passing through Elijay, Georgia. My husband and I stopped at the Elijay Arbys. When we walked in I was shocked, it is the cleanest store I have ever been in. It was also all decorated with fall and Halloween decor. It took alot of time for them to do that. It was beautiful, clean, and organized. On top of that our server that took our order was the nicest and most helpful person I have ever met. Her name is Michelle, she brought our order to us when it was ready then preceded to wish us to have a happy meal and good night. Then she came out and was cleaning the floor, trash, tables etc. As we left she again wished us to have a blessed night. I was so surprised to see someone work hard and keep a smile at the same time. It was a great experience and we will keep it in mind if we pass that way again. Thank you Michelle and thank you Arby's for the food...
