We were hoping for a good experience, based on several positive reviews I read. My husband and I entered the restaurant and commented about how nice it looked. The server came with menus and, after ordering our drinks, I asked about the prime rib sandwich. He said they cook it done but it is still tender. I decided to try it and asked for horseradish with it. My husband ordered a Philly cheesesteak. Our food arrived and then we realized we had no utensils or napkins. I went to the bar, but the server had his back turned and after a few minutes, a guy sitting at a nearby table asked if I needed something. I told him, "I just need a knife to put my horseradish on my sandwich." We went back to his table and looked at the table (several others were sitting there) to see if there was a clean knife on their table! He then went to a cabinet and got two silverware sets out and said, "The server isn't here yet so some of us pitch in." I opened my sandwich to put the horseradish on and thought, "This doesn't look very good" but I still put the horseradish on. Well, with the first two bites, I thought that it tasted burnt. Looked at it more closely and told my husband that this meat is burnt and I highly doubt it's prime rib. I then waited a few minutes for the server to return to ask if everything was all right, which is typical. He didn't come back. My husband said, just dip it in the au jus and see if that helps. Well, I did. The server still didn't come back to check on us, and I had already been up to the bar once. As I got to the second half, I said to my husband, "I can't eat anymore of this. It's burned and there's hardly any meat on it anyway." I handed it to him. He said, "Gosh, I didn't realize it was this bad." He had maybe a fourth of the sandwich left when the server finally showed up and said, "How was that sandwich?" I answered, "Well, that was about the worst prime rib sandwich I've ever had." He said, "I'm sorry. I'd do something about it, but you ate it." My response was, "Well, I was going to tell you when you came back to check on us, but you didn't, so finally, I started eating it." He said he'd go get our checks and, at the very least, I thought he might only charge half for that sandwich, but no, it was full price. I will say my husband's sandwich and beer were fine, but overall we were very disappointed and won't go back. In addition, I work in a place where customers often ask for recommendations about good places to eat. This will be the one I will tell them...
Read moreFull review- The most unprofessional disgusting place I’ve EVER SEEN! I had a horrible experience Sunday night witnessing over serving of alcohol among other issues. When I called the owner, Scott, to let him know he has an officer preying on people, he was extremely defensive and took up for the police officer. Scott would not even let me speak without berating me. He also said, did I stutter when I asked him to repeat his name. He told me we needed to learn how to act, however he does not know who we are, all we did was dance and give a lot of money and support to their business. I have never been so disrespected in my life. We will never ever do business again. If you are from out of town DO NOT GO THERE! Do not spend your time or sanity. It’s a trap, then they treat you like crap. It also smells like crap! Update- Scott called and said I spoke to his son, which means he lied. Scott was automatically extremely defensive, there is no talking to this place, it’s obvious they only like locals. They are not open to feedback, super shady...
Read moreWe had a Smokey bacon cheeseburger and a Patty melt. Ordered both medium- both came out like hockey pucks- zero flavor, chewy and not even satisfying like a Burger King burger that you regret eating later but you ate it because you were so hungry at that moment. Patty melt came with chips from a bag. Fries with the burger were ok, hot at least with decent seasoning. We also had the spinach and artichoke dip - bland and saucy, an oil kind of saucy, not cheesy, void of any flavor except oil.
The food standard is clearly very low for this place. Nice staff. And plenty of pool tables if you want to get your 8-ball on. Good place to get drunk with your buddies, but don’t go here expecting to have a reasonable bar-food culinary experience. Definitely no way that’s...
