It's the new location split from KFC/TB just blocks apart. While it took a short time for customers and staffers to hit the right balance between supply and demand, as of this summer 2021 they have ironed it all out. I was here this evening (night) around 9:15p and while the drive-thru moved fast and the young men and ladies were well spoken, on task, and performing better than any TB in the AK valley, they were working and problem solving way out of the box for what we've come to expect from young restaurant attendants thinking on their feet to not waste food, keep the cooking apparatus and friers available, and minimizing waste and known loss. I don't usually leave good or bad reviews but a lovely young lady "perhaps" named Katie with glasses after 9pm on Tuesday Jul 14, 2021 happily substituted my order, offered more than enough grace and willing to substitute my order for a more expensive option that was already on the line for the same discounted price, I thanked her and said I would be glad to wait a few minutes extra on a balmy July weekday night. Instead of driving back around in the 10-15min she suggested, I parked at pick-up and within minutes she brought the order out and thanked me so graciously for waiting that I thought it might have been family. I asked her if there was a code on the receipt so I could leave positive feedback and she said thanks but because of the order change she didn't have the receipt. This is the best I can do in liu.    Read moreIf there was a way to give no stars I would. I believe this generation truly has lost the ability to think for themselves. I went through the drive thru today at 1330. My total was $18.33, so I gave the man $23.35; meaning I would get a $5 and 2 pennies back. Not that hard of math, especially when you are using a cash register. The man tried to give me back $3 and some change, which I immediately told him was wrong. He then called his manager up to open the drawer to change it. Mind you this took about 10 minutes for them to figure out. Then the man gave me $5.02 back, which was correct, however the $5 bill was nearly ripped in half. When I asked for a different bill, the manager was very rude and screamed that she would not open the drawer again for this. To which I calmly replied, it was not my error that caused it to be opened the first time. And that I would appreciate it if she exchanged them. She screamed again she wouldn't and "I guess that's too bad". I then sat for another 10 minutes for my food. I was not given a receipt, even thought I asked for one twice. The manager was so rude, and her employees had disgusted looks on their faces, like I was causing them an inconvenience. Then don't work in fast food?    Read moreJust went inside and there was 1 person eating and one waiting for an order. I walked in and nobody at the counter. So I waited. Employee gave the guy before me his order and left. And I still waited to be acknowledged. Employee came out of the bathroom looked at me and he kept walking but never said a word. I waited atleast 5 min. Still not acknowledging the fact that I was there. I get that a lot of places are short staffed.... But a "welcome to taco bell, we'll be with you shortly" would have kept me from leaving without ordering. I'll take my business...
