Village Pizza — Restaurant in East Hartford

Please do not order from here I have ordered here A bunch of times in the past and recently I started ordering from them again this time did not go so well I ordered some food and the food I ordered was not what I ordered and I called them back to let them know the person that answered the phone told me that there were they couldn't fix it that they would give me maybe a dollar or two next time I order again and after getting off the phone with them the called me back and he told me that the cook told him I was wrong and then I could not believe what I heard next he told me the cook was laughing at me and he started giggling basically saying I was wrong and then I said okay so I guess the customer is not always right and he said well who am I to believe my cook or you and I said what was wrong with my food and then he said well we will give you a dollar to off next time once again he said after they laughed at me and when I asked him if he could fix my food when he called me back he wouldn't do it he basically tried to rush me off the phone in a laughing matter this is just my opinion my honest opinion I've never had this problem before but like I said I haven't ordered from them for a long time and just started recently and the service was terrible especially the part of being laughed at so if you want to be laughed at and criticized for your order go ahead and call this place thank you for...

Ordered a Combo #14, which is a Party pizza (1/2 bacon, 1/2 chicken and green peppers), 20 wings and a 2 liter for 34.99. Asked for extra sauces and two extra toppings. Total was over 60$-which to me was pretty hefty for what I was asking for but gave them the benefit of the doubt. Waited over an hour for delivery. Called back to check, the girl taking orders hung up in my face. Called back and asked to speak with the owner. He assured that the order would be there shortly. Which it was! Upon inspection of my order, my pizza was wrong. It was 1/2 bacon, and 1:2 chicken, peppers, spinach, broccoli, and tomatoes. I called back to let them know of the error, and they said they would send out a SMALL of the correct order I requested. And would NOT refund me any money for the specialty pizza I received but did not ask for.

My family has lived in EH for years, and we frequent this pizza place. The disrespect from the order girl was uncalled for, and the unwillingness to accommodate the price difference from the owner was as well.

I will never be ordering from this...

Last evening, 3/10/2021 my boyfriend and I ordered pizza from Village Pizza in East Hartford, CT for the FIRST TIME. Now I’m not one to call out anyone, life happens but this was UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Our first phone call was placed at 6:41pm for a simple large pizza. 3 1/2 HOURS LATER (Yes, 3 1/2 hours later) no delivery of the pizza ordered. Our second call was placed at 10:10pm and the owner of Village Pizza answered. Not only did he have NO CLUE of our order, address of delivery... he treated us like it was our fault. He actually had the nerve to say “what did you do to the girl, when you placed the order?!” WHAT! I don’t even know what that means but 40 minutes later we were finally delivered our pizza and CHARGED $22 and change!!!!! 😡😤 NEVER AGAIN will we order from YOU! Mistakes happen but OWN THEM!
