The food here is excellent. We have gone here for many years. On this particular day we went for breakfast and had a very nice meal. We were, however , disappointed in the service and the condition of the restaurant. The service wasn't great. First , the servers were dresses in sweat pants, t-shirts, and hoodies. Just a bit sloppy. The server asked my husband if he wanted a second cup of coffee and by the time she realized she hadn't served it yet, we were ready to leave. I asked for decaf and it wasn't yet made, which was not a problem. However, my meal was delivered and there was no offer of the beverage. My husband asked the server if the decaf was brewed and the server suddenly remembered. (It was not busy at the time....we were one of three tables being served and there were two servers.) The other disappointment was both the cleanliness and the condition of the restaurant. What once was a cute kitchy establishment now looks dated, a little dirty, and tired. The floor had crumbs on it, there was a sticky substance that had spilled in the window sill next to our table that wasn't wiped, a honey packet on the floor under our table, and just about every chair has torn or cracked vinyl on it. I was also concerned that the gentleman who was cooking was not wearing something on his beard. I hope this restaurant can make a few adjustments...it truly...

My family and I not only got bad service, we were also treated unfairly. We came here to eat breakfast since the restaurant advertised a patio where customers could eat outside. When we arrived there were 3 families seated on the patio. After we ordered our food my sister asked if we could sit outside and the woman who took our order told us we could not eat outside without any explanation. We went to wait for our food but it bugged us that we were told we couldn’t eat outside. I ended up going back to where we ordered from and asked why we weren’t given the option to sit outside. The man attending to me said we were allowed to since it was open to customers. As he was talking the woman who had previously taken our order brought out our food in boxes and bags and handed it to us. We felt uncomfortable at this point and went to eat at our car since it was clear that we were unwelcomed by this woman. My family and I are from out of state and it’s very obvious that we are not from the surrounding areas and to be treated like this by a server made all of us feel terrible. Not only did she make us feel like we didn’t belong, she messed up my order, but feeling the way we did, we did nothing about it. The food was overpriced for the small proportions we were given and we were not given enough utensils. If I could give this restaurant 0...

Had driven by for years and figured it had to be good because the lot was always full. Finally decided to stop in and was at first underwhelmed by the decor. The worn seats and tables certainly add a touch of shabby chic, but I'm here for breakfast.

Server was very friendly, offered some recommendations, so we ordered. French toast sampler for me, pancakes and eggs for my wife. Food was out quickly and served piping hot. Again, don't expect some fancy plating. It's plain and simple.

Now, the French toast sampler includes three varieties... Texas toast, croissant, and cinnamon bread. Croissant was good, maybe a little chewy, but good flavor. The Texas toast was better... well coated and cooked to perfection.

The cinnamon bread?

Oh. My.

This was otherworldly... so much flavor, great texture and these bursts of cinnamon on the taste buds.

Highly recommend, but realize you're not eating in some fancy place... just a smallish restaurant where the food is the star, not the atmosphere.

A word about service... the servers are hopping so they don't have the free time to stop and check in with you every five minutes. That's OK. They are friendly and outgoing, and, most importanbtly, get the food out quickly...

I finally made it to The Pantry! After what felt like a decade of trying to coordinate my schedule with their hours (seriously, who only opens from 8 AM to 2 PM? It’s like they’re on a breakfast-only mission! But I totally understand), I was ready to feast. The restaurant itself is a cozy little gem, and the service was so good I half-expected the staff to serenade me while I waited for my food. We decided to dive into the lunch special: a Pretzel Burger, and we also ordered a French toast. Now, let’s talk about that Pretzel Burger—what a masterpiece! It was so delicious that I thought, “I should share this!” But then I remembered that sharing is overrated. In the end, sharing backfired spectacularly, and we found ourselves ordering a second Pretzel Burger. It was like the culinary equivalent of winning the lottery—so amazing that I was convinced I needed two! Who knew pretzel buns could unlock such happiness? If you haven't tried it yet, do yourself a favor and make a trip. Just be prepared to leave with a full belly and a newfound love for pretzels. In conclusion, The Pantry: where breakfast is a lifestyle and the Pretzel Burger is a reason to go back... twice!

I've read the past reviews for this place and everything I read that was negative no longer exists. The food was amazing and the price was equally amazing. My husband and I both got the southwest skillet and my son got the kids French toast and sausage meal. The only thing I would suggest for improvement is offering kids meals that include beverages, even though a small beverage is insanely cheap. We paid less than $30 for two skillets that come with toast and potatoes, a kids French toast meal and three drinks. Amazing local eatery, nothing like a chain breakfast place but trust me that's a good thing. My son is such a picky eater that he's never cleaned his plate until today! He ate every bite of his food. Our waitress was amazingly sweet and attentive, don't quite remember her name but she was a full figure young lady with darker hair. Will definitely make my way back here if I find myself in Pennsylvania again.

THE BREAKFAST CLUB #BreakfastWithTheMacsAndZynns #ForcedFamilyTime ⚠️ Pro tip: Arrive early! We were the first in line when they opened, and it didn't take long for the place to fill up. That's when you know it's a sure bet for a great meal. The service? Friendly and on point. 👍 The prices? Pretty much standard, $10.99-$12 for an omelet or skillet that includes home fries and toast. The food? A hit all around! My father-in-law, who doesn't dish out compliments easily, gave his Western Omelet a solid "very good." High praise, indeed! 😉 And the French toast? Four of us gave it a solid 👍👍 up! My BIL especially enjoyed the cinnamon toast French Toast. Soooo, it's safe to say the "fabulous batter" they brag about on the menu is, in fact, quite fabulous. Oh, and #TeamLimpBacon, another win for you guys! 🤢😂 #supportsmallbusinessowners #SupportSmallRestaurants
