Bruno's Hoagies — Restaurant in East Lampeter Township

My friend and I commonly go to lunch at a local restaurant but when we went today, the place was closed and so in trying to decide what to do, we saw that Brunos was within walking distance but didn't really know about it...so we took a chance. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! There was a line when we got there (around 12:15) but we were able to put in our order at the counter pretty quickly...within a few minutes. There were only two workers behind the counter but they were doing a good job of getting things done. Our order took a little longer but thats to be expected with the line still at the door when we ordered and after we started eating. Some things to know...1) the bread is exceptional, 2) always order the special sauce, 3) be ready to leave full. I needed to go four-stars because they only had a few people working (which may not be their fault given todays employment climate) and the place was simply not decorated or kept to a five-star level (this didn't add charm). All said, I will definitely be returning to eat here again and try one of the other hoagie options...and i will be bringing other...

When you order a Philly Cheesesteak, you get to build your own. You get to choose beef or chicken and toppings. The sandilwich was good, not very fill, and the value for $15 was there, but it was good. I ordered onion, peppers, etc, and there were very few toppings added. For $15, there should be enough toppings added to fill the sandwich. I live within 2 mins of this location and I maybe go there every 6-8 months but I'll go to other places weekly! Also, when you order, check your order! I've ordered sandwiches that didn't have what I ordered or had what I didn't want! Overall, a good sandwich...

This is the best hoagie shop in all of Lancaster County, in my opinion. This was my 1st time ordering (definitely not my last). I ordered what I thought was a basic ham and cheese hoagie. It was NOT basic. The bread was super fresh, delicious and from Philly. The meat and cheese was QUALITY. These quality hoagies speak for themselves. I can’t wait to try an Italian hoagie. I just ordered for the 2nd time and I was NOT disappointed. The family ordered an American hoagie, roast beef hoagie, pastrami on rye, & corned beef. They were all very delicious.
