I walked into the east lansing trowbridge taco bell location at 2:15am, the restaurant was busy so I was expecting a longer wait. I placed my order at the kiosk and as I was placing the order a worker said out loud to the 20 people in the lobby and said "lobby is closed", I thought she was talking to the people who were sitting down in the lobby telling them to leave, as I saw many people getting their orders over the counter. I paid for my food and waited probably 20ish minutes. Then that same worker walked around with a bag and a drink that matched my order description, she looked at me and walked back into the kitchen. She then came out of the kitchen, said my name, and looked at me. I responded, and she said "I told you we were not doing kiosk orders" and said she could not give me my order. I would have understood if the kiosks were down, or if she made it clear the kiosks were not in use, or if there was no one else in the lobby. But I am pretty sure they made my order, then were mad I placed the order on the kiosk, and because of that did not want to give me my food. I understand that they were busy, and I was willing to wait for my food. But, I paid for my order, never got my food or...
Read moreNormally I wouldn’t bother to leave a review on a fast food place because general expectations aren’t that high. However, my experiences at this Taco Bell location have been particularly disappointing. You would think that employees would be able to properly put the lids on drinks at the very least. There have been several times I’ve ordered some sort of beverage at this location, and the lid has been at least a quarter of the way off of the cup, which has sometimes led to it spilling everywhere. I’ll order from the Taco Bell app sometimes, and somehow this location is always out of Baja Blast, chicken, etc. and never let you know in advance. Once they do, there’s never an apology, just a brash “what do you want instead?” Anytime I’ve had to come into the store, whether ordering food or to ask for missing items from my order, it takes at least 5 minutes for employees to acknowledge you outside of the occasional staring contest. In the drive thru, it’s rare to get any form of greeting, as the employees are usually ignoring you or having group conversations. As I said before, the bar for Taco Bell is generally pretty low, but somehow this location in particular always manages to fall well...
Read moreZero stars. Food was terribly cold after waiting almost 45 minute in drive thru. Pulled back around and came inside. Only to be scared off by numerous employees arguing and fighting. The manager on duty states his name is Trent. I witnessed him belittling and swearing at two employees. He also used a racial slur. Shortly after, the police had arrived. Two police cars. This place is a side show. On top of it all. The food is never made correctly. The manager makes racist remarks. Employees are literally fighting. Police presence. Terrible establishment. The employees uniforms are always dirty. They sit in dining room and swear and joke while I wait 30 minutes for a door dash pick up. Countless times I've had pick ups. And there's a circle of 5 employees standing outside smoking marijuana. The general manager uniform is dirty and oversized which is crazy because he's like 25 years old. Drive through times are sometimes 40 Miniutes or more. Not to mention the offensive talk coming from the kitchen. Including many racist comments. Place should be shut down permanently. The inside is always dirty. This is the worst one in the city. The management should be ashamed...
