Itâs Saturday morning. My wife and I came in, excited to try their donuts, and there were 2 people ahead of us. No big deal right? Itâs surprisingly empty but thatâs understandable considering itâs a new business. We stood there for a good 10 minutes without a single acknowledgment from the guy at the counter. The only other employee was a girl that was coming from the back bringing trays of donuts. Again, zero acknowledgment from either one of them. I understand itâs a new business but acknowledging your customers or even smiling at them and letting them know youâll get to them in a minute would have made all the difference. We walked out without purchasing anything. I will give credit to the guy putting the donuts in the boxes. He put each one so delicately into each box as if they were a newborn baby. This is probably why it was taking so damn long to get any kind of service. Did the guy in front of me ever get his donuts? Who knows. Itâs a shame that either being understaffed on a Saturday morning or lack of staff training left such a negative experience. Hopefully you...

I tried them twice, because the first time it was so bad it must have been a mistake. Both times were equally as bad.
My first trip I had a classic glazed, a strawberry icing donut, and a cinnamon sugar donut. The doughnuts aren't fresh, the icing is flavorless, and everything tastes either out of a can or a commissary.
My second trip was an apple fritter and vanilla icing on a yeast donut. The center of the apple fritter was goo, undercooked by a lot. The apple topping was a pie filling can, and the taste was not fresh. The dough reminded me of a day old cinnamon roll from a gas station. The Icing on my other donut fell off in sheets, indicating it was done at least a day ago and not fresh. The yeast donut itself was better this time than my first experience, but for a donut shop that is the bare minimum.
It is sad, a donut shop should be good at donuts if nothing else. To add to all this disappointment, each order was about $8.
You are better off going to a...
Read moreUpdate: October 2025- This shop has definitely improved and the fresh donuts are great and so far, have been consistent. Good stuff!
Iâve tried this donut shop three times and each time was a disappointment. The first time, the apple fritter was void of any apple, but was tasteful. The Boston Crème was raw and doughy. Also noted, no peanut butter donuts. The second time, the shop was closed and doors locked when the hours of operation indicated they should have been open. No sign displayed to indicate otherwise. The third and final time today, I bought the $5+ dollar apple fritter donut, a $3.50 Boston Crème, and a large black coffee. There is no consistency with the apple fritter. Look at other posted photo reviews and see for yourself. My apple fritter was loaded with surgery cinnamon and undercooked, leaving the center dough raw and gooey. The Boston Crème was fine and large for a donut and the coffee was average. Still, no peanut butter filled donuts and the...
