The owner doesn't like African Americans. He on 4 different occasions he is solely responsible for giving out uncooked or the wrong order to me and others, so we will no longer come to his establishment. Most recently I let him know my meal was cold and not at a warm temperature. His response was I complain! Of course I am complaing, my food is not ready to eat lol. He has no customer service skills and only cares about the money his customers bring to him. PLEASE, DONT NOT EAT HERE AND GIVE HIM MONEY HE DOESNT APPRECIATE!!! As a customer, I demand hot ready to eat food and if he is being biased or racist against who he is going to better serve, we should not support is attitude towards others. Before these few unpleasant experiences, my orders were five star. This owner needs to be reprimanded because he has lots his respect for my my ethnic group. If u choose to support this place, I'd hate to see you fall victim as well.

Read morePlaced an order online. Website was convenient to use. Ordered a total of 8 tacos for two people and a large horchata. If we didn't get the drink, it would have been less than $10 a person. The drink was the price of 2 tacos, but they're serious about it being a large (think movie theater large). Also, the platform they use has a small fee, but that's kind of the norm these days. Paid it for the convenience of not having to wait long for my food. It was actually ready well before the website's quoted time. I showed the friendly cashier my order confirmation when I arrived and she knew it was ready.
The tacos hit the spot for an inexpensive meal that was quick. We got 2 Al pastor, 2 carne asada, 1 tripe, 1 chorizo and tongue, 1 fish, and 1 shrimp. I liked them all. Al Pastor and Carne Asada were classic. Tripe and Chorizo and Tongue were more out of the box for me, but also good. Fish and Shrimp came with bell pepper and onion as well as lettuce, tomato, cheese, avocado and green sauce. I liked the fish a little more...
Read moreSo in the last 6 months or so, I've been trying to pin point my go-to Mexican joint, and sadly nothing has really stood out. But low and behold, TLC came thru in a pinch! Nestled in EPA, not too far from Ikea, this taqueria serves up some tasty authentic flavors!
I typically order my norm, which is a loaded carne asada burrito, however this time around I went with a street taco plate with 4 different proteins. I sampled the carne asada, carnitas, chicken, and shrimp. The flavors for each protein was perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Coupled with homemade salsa, these were probably the best tacos I've had EVER! Service was both friendly and efficient.
Don't let the location, or the house converted to restaurant fool you. The food and service at TLC is authentic as it gets. On my next visit I will make sure I order a super loaded burrito. I'll report back to let you know if it is 5 Star worthy! Swing by when you are driving by EPA. This...
