Starbucks — Restaurant in East Pennsboro Township

I ordered a regular coffee. Then I waited and waited and waited. After I watched the lady behind the register start serving other customers their coffees at the register, I asked the tall lithe lady with dark brown hair tied back in a pony tail and in a flat Starbucks hat who looked to be around her late thirties if I could get my coffee as I’ve been waiting for it for a while. She rolled her eyes and said, “where did you order it?” I answered, “from the register over there.” She said, “well that’s where you get your coffee. I don’t deal with the regular coffee.” Well that set me off. So I went up to the register a full figured younger woman with freckles, and told her I just want my money back. She then got me my money and said “sorry, I’m just one person here.” To which I had to point out that there was three of them working and all of you seem to have a terrible attitude. Overall, the best Starbucks location in the area but subpar and below expectations. Last 4 of 5 times I have been there to pick up my order (from Starbucks Mobile App) the order was either wrong or not yet ready. Today I had to wait several minutes for an order I placed 25mins prior to my arrival. When I picked it up, it was wrong. The worker that provided me the drink seemed in disarray and worked with no urgency to fulfill the needs of the other customers waiting for their mobile orders. There was a line of ~5 people waiting on mobile orders. Unfortunately, Harrisburg lacks other Starbucks options due to lack of locations. Please, at least make an attempt to display you care about...

I pulled up early on a Sunday morning ordering my usual venti iced peppermint mocha. As I come to the drive thru window the barista working named Ally says, “Did you come here yesterday? I totally gave you the wrong drink yesterday.” Which was true but I always feel bad return food or drinks that are incorrect, so it was no big deal to me.

Ally said the drink was free due to the mistake from Saturday. I am incredibly impressed she even remembered my face out of the dozens she saw that day and that she remembered the drink error. That shows how much she and the staff at this location cares about their work and customers.
