I understand Dunkin is busy and service may not be perfect. I’ve worked in food service and know how hard employees work. However, I’ve never given a bad attitude to a customer, even if they weren’t nice to me. I’ve been coming to this Dunkin for a while, and the service isn’t always great, but I understand it’s not a 5-star restaurant. Today, my mobile order wouldn’t apply the national coffee day promotion or accept my payment, but I still went because I wanted coffee. I greeted the cashier and asked if anyone else had issues with the promotion or app. She assured me there hadn’t been any. However, another employee said a few people had issues and offered to help. To my surprise, some of her coworkers were rude to her for trying to assist me. She scanned my phone to check if the promotion applied, but it didn’t. She defended herself, showing her coworkers that the promotion wasn’t going through. I said I didn’t mind paying for it, but I wanted to know if I was doing something wrong. One of the other employees gave me a nasty attitude, insinuating that I was doing something wrong because my app wasn’t working, which was fine to say once, but it became repetitive. She tried to find any possible way to have put it on me. She kept raising her voice, even though she was on the other side of the building. I ignored her to avoid conflict, but she stormed off to the back and headed outside. I was embarrassed and disappointed. The cashier apologized and excused her coworkers’ behavior. I understand she might’ve been stressed due to the high demand, but I didn’t cause any...
Read moreSwiped my card and employee said transaction didn’t go thru and asked me to swipe it again. So I did. The register rang saying sale was completed. When I got out to my car the employee comes yelling for me to come back in stating that my card didn’t go thru. I looked at my phone and there was 2 notifications of 2 transactions clearing my account. I showed the FEMALE MOD that 2 transactions cleared and stated I wasn’t going to swipe a 3rd time as that would charge my account another $11.45, making my total transaction amount $34.35. And advised her that she should figure out the issue with her register as my card had cleared. I then told her that if she wanted me to swipe my card a third time that she would need to void out the previous two transactions that cleared. So she pressed a button on the register and when she did that the register drawer popped open and a receipt printed showing my sale was completed and paid for. At that point I left. But being embarrassed and humiliated by the whole ordeal, I called the store and asked to speak to her manager. When I did that she became very argumentative with me, she kept speaking over me, interrupting me and just kept repeating to me “Mam you’re not listening to me.” As if I were her child!! She refused to get her manager on the phone. Dunkin’ Donuts has now lost my business FOREVER! I’ve never been so appalled by the LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM by any...
Read moreIm a CNA and I frequently stop at this dunkin in between traveling to clients. Today they had a girl outside taking orders at the drive thru which is fine. When I got to the menu board, I saw they had a new iced pumpkin chia latte. No one answered at the menu board to add on to my order. When I drove up to the window, I asked to add on and they refused stating they dont do add ons before 11am. It was 10:20am It's very inconvenient to have a girl take my order before I even see the menu board if there going to refuse to add on. I'd rather just order at the menu board so I can get...
