Not sure what is this restaurant’s issue with pick up, it’s never right.
Dine-in is great: food is great (especially jumbo wings), service is good, beer selection is good.
Pick up, however, has some issue with including proper amount of dressing and/or sides, every single time for the last several months (has not been a problem before). Those that dine here probably know how delicious, large and meaty their wings are, but I will find somewhere else to get take out from. Not sure what changed, they used to give you 1 little cup of blue cheese for small order of wings and 2 cups for a double/large order. I love lots of blue cheese (and some wings to go with it 🤣), but it was a reasonable amount. Sometimes I would order extra blue cheese, for an extra fee (no issue with this, obviously, if I need more than what the regular portion is, I’ll have to pay for it-and it’s totally worth it). Lately, however, no matter how many wings/orders of wings you order, you’ll get 1 cup with your order, 2 for 2-3 large orders if you are lucky. I started requesting requesting extra blue cheese every time, in the past several months I have never received it: sometimes they charge extra, but no extra is given, sometimes they don’t even charge.
Yesterday was the last straw- ordered 2 double/large orders, confirmed with the person on the phone that EACH order will come with 2 cups of cheese, for a total of 4. Of course, once we opened the order, it had only 2 cups. Ate half the wings, the rest will most likely go in the garbage since there is no dipping sauce to enjoy them with.
Same with Cole slaw- asked for a side order (they have it on the menu), it came in one of those tiny dressing cups - not even a teaspoon worth, I’d be ashamed to even charge anything for it- the cup itself probably cost more than the amount of coleslaw that was there. How do I get a proper side order of anything in this place? Not sure what the person taking phone orders is thinking- 2 large orders of wings enough for 3-5 people, and a tiny Cole slaw cup that’s not even enough for 1 bite is what they think I want as a side...
Read moreMoved to the area recently and was in search of "that" place for great service and food. I can safely say, I've found it. The bartenders recognized us by our third stop and made us feel very welcome. The drinks are priced perfectly and the happy hour specials are exceptional (great to know a $2.00 domestic still exists). The menu is extensive and unless you haven't eaten all day - prepare to take food home or split your meal. The wraps, sandwiches, and burgers are enormous and come piled high with chips or fries. I had to do a double take in disbelief at some of the appetizers - they are enormous, especially the nachos. The wings are top two in my book across my travels - breaded, sizable, tender and sauced perfectly. I've yet to partake - but saw a chicken parmigiana dinner brought out on two separate plates in addition to the bread served with it; all of their dinner entrees appear to be served the same way in both size and quality. I am very much a "sit at the bar" type of person which leads me to echo other reviews: the bar is smaller than their established customer base - arrive before the rush or expect to stand for 30-45 mins before some stools open up after work or on weekends. The restaurant seats a surprising amount of people given its size, but can feel a bit enclosed - so if you are keen on a private conversation or an intimate dinner, it's probably not your best option. That said, this is one of the finest establishments from top to bottom that I've come across in my travels, would highly recommend it to anyone in search of good...
Read moreI used to come here a lot when I lived nearby, and I stopped in tonight while running errands. I really miss this place!
The host was very welcoming and seated us right away. The space is a little smaller, so seating might be limited during busy times, but we had no trouble on a Wednesday around 7 PM. The atmosphere is inviting, and it’s clear this is a local favorite, everyone is so friendly and helpful.
Our waitress was super sweet and shared a ton of specials and off-menu options. Wednesdays are Margarita Night, so we tried the cranberry and pineapple margaritas, they both were fantastic!
My husband had the French onion soup, and even though I don’t usually like French onion, I tried a bite and was surprised. It had layers of flavors and it was really well done. I had the wings with fries as my entrée, and they were incredible—huge, juicy, fall-off-the-bone tender, and perfectly crispy. As a wing lover, I can see why they’re rated the best in NJ. My husband loved his chicken Caesar wrap, and the fries were crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.
We grabbed a slice of carrot cake to go, and it was moist, not overly sweet, and the perfect ending to a great meal.
If you’re in the area, make this place a regular stop. The food is fantastic, the staff is wonderful, and the portions are generous enough to turn one meal into two. With great specials and a welcoming vibe, you can’t go wrong! Can be a little noisy and a little cramped at times when it's busy, so would shy away from a Friday night,...
