Mei's Japanese Express — Restaurant in Eastman

Terrible! We visited the restaurant last weekend and the food was horrible. The teriyaki chicken was soupy. I have never seen anything like it. The egg drop soup gave my sister the runs, and the shrimp fried rice made me nauseated. It looked like day old rice. I was just extremely disappointed in the food, and the service. The young lady at the window, had the audacity to charge a dollar for some watered down teriyaki sauce and some vinegar tasting shrimp sauce, in which, leads me to believe the shrimp sauce was old or spoiled. We ordered a chicken lo mein and a small shrimp bowl. The “lo mein” were pretty obviously spaghetti noodles. Weird, but okay. So, I gave it a shot. I took a few bites, and pretty quickly noticed something wasn’t right. I look over, and my fiancé is poking her shrimp and says it smells a little off would I mind checking, too. We thought this was going to be more of an upscale dining experience when we first founded and then once we saw the building we understood that it was fast food of sorts however it was delicious and we were very satisfied in fact I brought about half of my dinner home I had the teriyaki steak and chicken with vegetables and I chose zucchini and they gave me plenty of it which is rare it wasn't just tiny little pieces that you had to go on a treasure hunt to find no they were nice big pieces of grilled zucchini delicious...
