Well typically if I don't have anything nice to say...but I do. I ordered 3 STEAK TACOS with cilantro and onions only & A FLAN over the phone for hubby to pick up. I grew up 1 1/2 hrs away from the Mexican Border my whole life and I'm 50 years old. If you are going to cook Mexican food it has to impress me. Sadly this did not. Mexican food is NEVER greasy. NEVER. Except maybe a few soups have a good amount of oil. When I picked up the first Taco I saw juice drip off but I took the bite. Of course grease squirted out the back end I couldn't finish even the second one. I will say however that the flavor was definitely there and they were a healthy size. But I'm not a fan of grease dripping from my food. I even used a tissue at the back end and went through all the napkins on one Taco. I read a review that said that the Taco shells were dipped in grease and they liked that. I just cant imagine! But it tasted good and the meat was tender. Their red salsa was tasty and spicy how i like. The green (salsa verde) tasted like it had avocado in it, like premade green salsa with guacamole from the grocery store and had zero heat I love green salsa but this wasn't made in house. The flan was ok. I'll give it one more try maybe the normal chef was out that day? :/ The reason I went here was that my regular spot is closed on Tuesdays. As are many Mexican establishments...
Read moreA couple weeks ago I walked past on my way to an appointment. I don't usually go out to eat, or order in, no matter how much I enjoy my meal, even when I make it myself, I've been getting nauseous after a couple/few bites. This is usually enough to keep me from spending money, lol. However, I haven't had a truly delicious plate of loaded nachos (or in this case "LaBamba" nachos) in over a decade. Almost every day for 2 weeks I'd been contemplating ordering their nachos, until finally I said wth, it's only money, right. Well let me tell you, these nachos did not disappoint!! Not only were they absolutely scrumptious, but it had enough meat, cheese, guacamole, ect that every single chip had more than enough to pile on. And the quantity, I wouldnt be surprised if 2 people could make a meal out of one playe. I munched on that from the time it was delivered at 4:30 until I went to bed around 10pm. Then I had more the next night, the guac was discolored, but then again, guac starts to discolor as soon as you open up the avocado, it was still very tasty. I absolutely will be back, and I've already told several local friends that they need to...

Started with the horchata—amazing aroma, like a whisper of cinnamon and vanilla. But the taste? A bit too shy. You kind of have to lean in and really pay attention to catch it. Still, it’s a refreshing sip.
Now, the tongue taco? THAT’S the main event. Bold flavor, tender bite, and when you drizzle that house salsa on top—chef’s kiss! It’s like a first kiss with a cow (if they had such a soft, savory tongue—haha). Totally worth it and...
