Went to Noto’s Deli in Easton after being told a dozen or so times to get their breakfast sandwich. Someone recognized me from TikTok inside and said I should try a cheesesteak. Hmmmm…okay! We got both.
The breakfast sandwich (BEC) was on a Portuguese style roll. A ton of egg on this, and I’d say an adequate amount of bacon. The ratio of this just didn’t feel right though, I would have liked either less egg, or another slice or two of bacon and another slice of cheese in the middle of all that egg. Not bad, not great.
The cheesesteak was pretty good. I enjoyed the meat and the seasonings. The meat to cheese ratio (no cooper, they use American) was good. The onions were larger than I like but they were sautéed enough that it didn’t mess with the bite of the sandwich. The roll though…was not a winner for me. It was soft on top of soft, and some people love that, but for me I need a crusty exterior to my cheesesteak roll. If this was on a different roll, this sandwich is a very good one.
Noto’s Deli - Didn’t Suck, but I’m not...
Read moreI am appalled by the behavior of one of the employees at this deli. A thin female staff member with dark curly hair has repeatedly shown blatant discrimination toward a transgender customer who visits regularly. The customer’s name is Arta, yet this employee deliberately calls her “Arthur” to mock her identity.
It doesn’t stop there. While on the clock, she often brings up her political views — loudly supporting deportation policies, praising Trump, and making comments that are clearly racist. She has also made fat-shaming remarks which is cruel, unprofessional, and unacceptable in any workplace.
A deli is supposed to be a welcoming place for everyone. Allowing an employee to harass customers, demean them over their appearance, and spread bigoted views on the job is inexcusable. Management needs to take immediate action to put an end to this...
Read moreNoto’s Deli – I’m always on the lookout for those hidden gem Ma and Pa spots—places that are clearly looked after and where the food’s made with care. If that’s your kind of thing too, Noto’s might be right up your alley. Walking in, you’re immediately met with a warm, homey atmosphere. The place has that classic charm, including an old-school menu board and prices that feel like a throwback in the best way. At first glance, I thought the selection was pretty limited—until I realized I was only looking at one of three menus. Turns out they offer everything from Italian hoagies and breakfast sandwiches to cheesesteaks, milkshakes, and even homemade cheesecake. I grabbed a generously sized Italian hoagie with a bag of chips this time around, but there’s no doubt I’ll be back to explore more of what they’ve...
