Pizza Depot — Restaurant in Easton

I would never recommend this place. I ordered a large pizza which should have came in 45 minutes. I called after an hour and 15 minutes and was told the food was delivered to my door. I did not recieve my delivery. They then told me they did not know what they could do and said would call me back. after 15 minutes going by I recieved a call from the manager telling me it was delivered to me I argued with the manager and asked for a refund was told I could not have a refund because the owner was not there. I told them I wanted another pizza. after 2 hrs i drove to the store and was given a pizza but was not given a refund for waiting 2 hours for a pizza. Mind you this was on a Monday night so it was not busy. I asked for the owner to call me because I feel like the staff disrespected me and this matter was not handled correctly. It is now Thursday and I have been trying to get in touch with the owner and have not recieved a call back. This is horrible customer service! My friend who orders from them every week with $50 plus orders saw how they treated me and will not be ordering again. I would give 0 stars if I could. I drive by the Pizza Depot in Easton five corners weekly and wanted to try it out. I stopped by this past Sunday and ordered a meatball and sausage parm sub or grinder as they refer to it on their menu. The sub roll was more like the type of roll you would find at a major sub franchise. Not that that's a bad thing, but I am not sure it is a good roll for toasting. I ordered my sub toasted and I'm not sure if it's spent more than 30 seconds being toasted. When I went to eat the sub it was fresh and still soft...not crunchy like it hadn't been toasted at all. Although not plentiful, the meatball and sausage we're pretty good, but not the best I have ever had in a sub sandwich. The service was good although it appeared the counter person was new to the job and inexperienced, but was still friendly. I was surprised to find Pizza Depot not very busy when I first visited, but later remember that the Patriots are playing at the same time. The Pizza Depot has a broad menu and I will definitely stop back and try something else from this establishment. I ordered a steak tip, asked him specifically not to burn it since any kind of burnt food creates acrylamide and hydrocarbons etc... which studies have been shown to be linked to cancer. he asked me how i wanted it cooked, i told him medium rare, asked him to cook it in oil also to help prevent it from burning it. Once i got it, i took two bites and tasted nothing but char, opened it up and saw nothing but black burned pieces of steak. it was cooked well done and very burnt, not medium rare. Why ask my how i want it cooked if you stent going to cook it that way? If you dont know how to cook steak on a grille without burning it, you shouldn't be using a grille. And say if he burnt it accidentally, i know i would feel obligated to make a new one, but not all people have the same business ethics unfortunately... its unfortunate cause i just moved to easton and now i will have to travel to devitas in franklin if i want a steak tip...
