Ordered a pizza ny special & a salad for my wife . Brought it home. Second or third slice in found HUGE BLACK HAIR in my mouth. Almost vomited. Brought it back to the store and waited at counter for a “manager” They denied there was any hair in it. And yelling at me to leave. I demanded a refund and they freaked out saying I had eaten some of the order.and they wouldn’t give refund. I said wasn’t leaving until I got my $$ back. Will never eat there again and would advise anyone else to be extremely cautious. I understand mistakes happen but these people should not be in the food service industry. Place used to be good. New management seems as if they have zero food safety training. Some things I noticed when I was waiting for my refund Filthy food service areas and floors A child working the cash register and the fry grill No gloves on any of the staff prepping raw meats and pizza dough and salads one after the other Long hair no hair nets No aprons or wipe cloths Dirty finger nails when handling cash registers and then directly back to food station without hand washing Food pieces in managers beard while yelling at me Female worker wiping lands on her own backside of her pants and preparing...
Read moreSorry , but this was a huge disappointment. Let me first say, The service was friendly and timely, Ill give them another chance for other menu items for that reason, but this pizza was about as bad as it gets and the premium prices make it worse.
The difference between what I had and the positive reviews is so distant I had to wonder if they were doing there own reviews. I know to each his own, but its hard to imagine this registers above average to anyone who has had pizza before.
The quality was barely even on par with frozen pizza,. We tried 4 different pizzas, all suffered from the same blandness, like it was not freshly made. The crust does not have a bakery like crunch like NYC pizza does, it bares little resemblance to NYC pizza other than its thin crust..
The ingredients were low end, soggy like defrosted ingredients the crust was too thin to support a single ingredient and slides right off leaving you with an unremarkable sauce and shell that is hard to believe is made in house. This is like getting Tofino's...
Read moreThey are the new kids in town, and their pizza definitely lives up to their name. As someone who used to make pizza, I will say that they do a really good job maintaining an even gumline throughout the entire pie, and the crust was crispy and had good flavor. I got the veggie lovers pizza, and it was topped with a lot of veggies, which I loved. My only complaint, and the reason this isn't 5 stars, was that they used fresh vegetables with the exception of the mushrooms. You could tell they were canned, and they definitely influenced the overall flavor of the pizza with a metallic taste and gummy texture. Otherwise it was a really good experience!
Edit: I can confirm that they know how to make a good North End style pie. The dough is definitely not frozen, and once again, a perfectly even gumline on the Greek pizza I got tonight. It's because of the consistency, and the fact that they are definitely taking our reviews to heart, I'm upgrading this to a 5. Keep it up guys,...
