East pointe fish & chicken — Restaurant in Eastpointe

This place used to be packed with customers. I went today no one there but me and another customer. I thought it was odd but my order was ready. #7 combo,(5 whole wings, 2 pcs. of fish, fries and a pop). When I looked at my food, I had 2 Catfish "nuggetts" and my wings were not seasoned dark and old, I had to ask for my drink which the gentlemen who took my $15 looked shocked that asked for it and the cook who came out to watch the football game grabbed it for me. There are three other choices in the immediate vacinity, next time I will choose one of the others. I should have known when Popeye's was busy, Captain Jays was busy even when I went to grocery store accross the street, Krispy Chicken's line was longer than the line at the check out. I suggest you make this place your last choice that's what I will do. I would have taken a picture but I dumbed it at the grocery store. That's why there was no customers one can only assume. Customer service is substandard. Messed up on my order and refused to make it right because he was not the cashier who initially took the order. After working all day and being tired and hungry the last thing you want is your order being messed up. I paid $14.83 for a fish and chicken combo. When I got home, it was only 6 wings and some fries, no fish and the restaurant had closed. I called back the next day to try and rectify the situation and was told because the phone representative didn't work the night before he could only replace the 2 pieces of fish. I feel like for the inconvenience of even having to go back the entire order should've been replaced as a courtesy. Cleanliness is next to Godliness…unfortunately this place does practice cleanliness! I chose dine in the sitting area and asked that the table be cleaned. Worker came out with Windex to clean the table. WHAT?!!! I expressed that Windex is not a cleaning disinfectant. The worker came back with a rag and said it was dipped in soap and water…My Lord…Needless to say, I asked for a manager and guess what…NO Manager available. I made the conscience decision to ask for a refund as I WILL NOT eat at a place that does not practice cleanliness nor respect COVID protocols.
