An employee by the name for Lamar made the atmosphere uncomfortable. Due to his lack of professionalism. I will not be returning back to this Subway. My visit started off in the drive-thru after placing my order at the kiosk. I proceeded to drive up to the window. Once I arrived to the window I noticed two employees making sandwiches. After looking over at me and walking past the window a few times neither employee acknowledge my presence. After waiting for 10 minutes I finally decided to hunk my horn to get their attention. Both employees looked over at the window once again and made me wait 5 more minutes before someone approached the window. Jamar came to the window and said "Were short staff you got to come in and place your order, we have over 10 people up in here". I told him that I have been in the drive- thru for over 15 minutes and that I should have been made aware of this minutes ago or have a sign placed on the window, so customers will know what's going on. Jamar said "I dident know you were at the window and it's not my job to put signs on the windows". (I later found out that an automated voice inside the restaurant informs the crew members that someone's is in the Drive-Thru). Once I entered into the restaurant their were several customers in line. I got into the line waiting to be serviced I noticed that Jamar had an ear peace in his ear and was carrying on two conversation one with customers, and the other on the phone. I asked Jamar if the manager was present in the store and he told me no. Jamar was at the beginning of the sandwich line pulling bread out of the warmer and adding meat and cheese to the sandwiches. Once it became my turn to place an order Jamar steped way form the counter and started ringing at the cash register, as he walked pasted his co worker I heard him whisper" I'm not helping her". Which caused me to have to wait even longer. I asked him for his name and told him that I would be calling the corporate office on Monday to let them know how he treats his customers. Jamar said " I don't care call who you won't it's not his fault that we only got two people up in here, my concern is making my numbers and getting paid, so I can have my money to smoke". I live 3 minutes from this Subway and I have been dining in this restaurant for regularly for 10 years. I arrived at this restaurant to purchase three sandwiches for my Husband, Father, and Myself. Read moreThis is my local store and I have been there several times. The first few times I went, the drive thru service was horrid. Despite this, I went a few more times hoping that I just caught them on an "off day". Unfortunately, it seems I catch them on many "off days" as there service has never been good. Nor has it been mediocre for that matter.
I used the automatic kiosk at the drive thru window this last time, punched in my entire order and pulled forward. Upon pulling up, I was asked what I had-- which is not too untypical. I though I would need to say my abbreviated order (what type of sandwich I had) and that would help them realize which one was mines. It was only 3 cars in the drive thru after all.. But no, I had to repeat my entire order as if I hadn't punched it in a few minutes before.
When the clerk saw how puzzled I was, he asked "Did you put it in the Kiosk?". I replied that I had, then he said "I just asked you that because because I didn't want to walk over there to read it so that I could ring you up". You didn't want to go look at my order because it was across the room??? So I had to repeat it all over again.. so much for the kiosk. .. They also attempted to get me to pay 2x.
When I got my order, I punched "normal" lettuce only to find that my sandwich had cheese, tomato, and a few shreds of lettuce. Luckily I was one my lunch break or else I would've gone back.
Normally, they take a long time.. a really long time to get your order completed.. but this one takes the cake. The E 9 mile location needs a complete overhaul of their staff as everytime I have gone (over 5 times now) service has been horrible. I'd recommend to anyone to travel the extra 2 miles north to the Subway on Gratiot/ 11 mile. Read moreI will NOT be returning to this location. I visited the Subway to get sandwiches from my mother and I this afternoon. Upon getting out of my vehicle and walking up to the door, there was a sign posted on the door indicating that the inside was closed and that only drive thru services will be accepted. I then go through the drive-through which takes about 25 minutes for me to get up to the kiosk menu to order my food. I ordered 2 sandwiches on the kiosk machine, verified my order by proof reading and proceeded to the window for pick up. I received my order and once I got home I realized the sandwiches were mixed up with the wrong toppings and dressing. I then call the store to speak with a Team Memeber. I was able to speak with an employee and told them my issue. I was then told to hold, and immediately hung up on. I called back and was greeted by another employee who identified herself as Ranika. I explained to her the situation. She proceeds to tell me that the other employee said she did not make a mistake and made the food the way it was supposed to be made. I told her I wouldn't be calling and wasting my time, If that were the case. Ranika indicated the only thing she could do was remake the order once I brought the subs back to the location. I told her I was working and would not be able to return for a few days. She indicated that the only way I could be accommodated is if I brought the old food back to the restaurant. She indicated she does not make the rules and couldn't do anything for me without me bringing the food all the way back to the restaurant. She was very rude and unprofessional.
Aside from that, the kiosk machine is filthy and the employee that gave me my food did not have a mask on or gloves. I will not be returning due to the very poor customer service. I am highly disappointed with...
