How to give GOOD Customer service should be required training bc they donât know what that is. First time going through drive-thru 1 month agoâŚ. 25+ minutes (10 of those minutes were waiting to order at the speaker) w 4 cars in line. (Someone SHOULD have said âwe will be right with youâ but no one even acknowledged we were at the speaker) Paid exact change cash & didnât get a receipt? (This SHOULD be a red flag to GMâs). Also, why did I have to wait before the pole instead of pulling up to the window? What are you hiding? What donât you want me to see? Last night there were only 2 cars ahead of me but they were out of Chicken wings & tenders at 8:20 (open until 10). The order taker SHOULD have said to me )when she told me they were out of both the whole wings and the tenders) âThey will take XX minutes, would you like to wait? But instead, had to order something I didnât want (TBH I didnât want Popeyes anyway- especially this location, but was picking up food for others besides myself). Once again I paid exact change cash and asked for a receipt. When she handed me my food she informed me that she tried to print a receipt but the printer is not working. (Red flag #2) However, if that were true, she would have told me that right away when I asked for a receipt, donât you think? Did it work earlier but only stopped when I asked for a receipt? Needless to say, I called and spoke with the GM about my concerns of potential theft. She was not concerned. So I guess I wonât be either. But I also wonât be going back to this...
Read moreMy husband and I went here out of hunger desperation, having had Popeye's before we figured it would be a nice change from the fast food we had been getting on the road during our trip.
Nothing prepared me for this visit.
Going up to order looked like I was trying to get visitation with a prisoner. It was hilarious but also made me really think about the location I was in. They had their chicken and the employees on lock down, behind thick bullet proof glass that most banks use and prisons use when the visitor and prisoner pick up the phone to speak to each other. It was surreal to see this kind of defensive system in a Popeye's.
The food was fine, like every other Popeye's but the staff here was not helpful at all. They put our order into their bullet proof lazy susan-esque box and after I brought our order to the table I realized there's no napkins.
In any other restaurant this would be no trouble, here, trying to get napkins was like trying to get top secret security clearance or the Krabby Patty formula. I made eye contact with at least 4 different employees while trying to ask for napkins through the only space not completely secured with 10 inch thick plastic. Eventually I trapped one of the staff after they were giving someone else's order and FINALLY got a whole 3 napkins. It was not busy this day, this customer and my husband and I were the only people at this place and few drive through cars, why it took so much effort to ask for napkins...
Read moreStaff and Management BOTH are lazy, rude and unprofessional. First and last time visiting. WITNESSED STAFF MEMBERS ACTIVELY EATING ON THE LINE!!!! Thought it was some type of joke, smh. Inside of the establishment was filthy. Very poor customer service. Not to mention staff purposely move like snails! While doing so I witnessed customers trying their hardest to be patient. With a staff full of employees, you would think it would be more pleasant. Contacted corporate immediately!!!! Note to all consumers!!!!! RECORD RECORD RECORD!!!!! Definitely better to show corporate just how much their staff value their positions. Also how much POPEYES appreciate their PAYING CONSUMERS. Thereâs no wonder these ratings are low. If you have the time and donât mind the job. The one in Sterling Heights, Michigan is very worth the drive. You ask my opinion EVERYONE THERE NEEDS TO BE FIRED. New Management should be corporates first priority!!!!! Ship up or CLOSE DOWN!!!! Customers deserve quality service in a timely manner. Also I took the time to forward this to the health department. Seriously reminds me of the Popeyes establishment on Gratiot and 7mile. This was BY FAR the worst Iâve visited since that restaurant went VIRAL!!!! Hopefully anyone who works in this field will take the time out to send mystery shoppers and inspectors to solve this despicable...
