Little Italy Pizza — Restaurant in Eastpointe

Little Italy is in a class of its own. I cannot say enough good things about this pizzeria. I always get an old fashioned round pie, cooked well done, with sesame seed crust and the old fashioned pepperonis. And it never disappoints. And when I decide to be healthy and get a salad, I am always blown away by the quality. Good lettuce, crisp tomatoes, beets wrapped separately in foil, so as to not make the salad soggy, ample dressing in two plastic cups individually wrapped so they don’t spill. The attention to detail is unlike any delivery pizzeria I’ve ever experienced. And speaking of delivery, no one, literally no one else goes above and beyond the way they do. I live in a high rise apartment building and they’re the only ones who come right to my door instead of just calling me when they’re in the parking lot. I’ve even had them deliver to our marina and they bring the pizza right down the dock to our boat, sometimes just as we’re pulling back in from a cruise. Little Italy Pizza consistently delivers exceptional pizza that stands among the finest in Metro Detroit. I first visited their original location in the 1990s, and even after more than two decades, the quality remains unwavering. Despite the short drive, I admittedly had not returned as often as I should have, but recent visits have reaffirmed why Little Itlay deserves enduring praise. Both the round and square pizzas are outstanding, the round being my personal preference, perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. 3 years of being a loyal customer. Trashed with one phone call . person answering the phone has absolutely no customer service skills at all . was obviously to busy doing something else that she couldn't listen to the order that I had to repeat 3 times and she still didnt get it rite . pretty sad. 2 Italian subs with no mild peppers and a 2 liter of reg mountain dew. Was so difficult to understand . I'm usually very easy going but this lady's whole attitude said she was to busy to answer the phone to take orders. So why bother.
