Eastpointe Spindler Park — Attraction in Eastpointe

The park is very nice. I'm specifically rating it for disc golf. The course is actually very cool, with some interesting holes. It is just near impossible to follow. Even after taking a picture of the map, it's so hard to tell where the tees are without looking all over the area first. I realized halfway through playing that some of the tees are not tees at all, but chalk lines on the concrete. Some posts/signage would really go a long way in enhancing this place. Considering going back, since once I figured out the layout, and that some tees are just chalk lines, it isn't a terrible course with some fun, long holes.

Also, there's currently the rotting corpse of what I think is a skunk right next to one of the tees, so... yeah, that...

Beautiful park and well maintained…tennis courts… horseshoe pits.. shuffle board.. bean bag toss.. playscape.. gazebos for rent contact Rsvl parks and rec for that. Many people come here daily to walk their dogs and you will very rarely see tha dogs business on the ground.. there are two metal boxes of dog bags on the grounds connected to standing poles.. one at the entrance and one by the walking circle.. very convienant… clean restroom building always… and clean outhouse in the park…everyone loves Spindler park.. thanks to city of Eastpointe and the JJMich co. Also the Disc golf players are very respectful of the park patrons when playing their game and many people love to come and...

I went to spindler to check out the disc golf park, and let me tell you! I was very amazed by this place! The course itself was great, had plenty of diverse holes, and a lot of play on their giant hill!

Outside of just a disc golf course, they have picnic tables and pavilions, scattered through out the park so multiple families can enjoy parties and cookouts without being mashed up with other groups! They've got plenty of trees for shade too! They've got shuffle board, tennis courts, horseshoe pits, and to top it of, in the field house they have bathrooms and drinking fountains! I was pretty impressed with the upkeep of this place and will be back...
