This place has gone downhill since the older owners retired.

The food is still fine, but that's just it, it used to be fantastic, now it's just... fine. And they frequently make mistakes on orders.

It's crazy expensive now, which so are other places but a single burger has no right costing me upwards of 10 dollars.

The root beer is no longer being made in the store from what I can tell, it's bland now and goes flat almost immediately, as if it's been sitting around for days.

If you dine in, they no longer offer table service, which is fine, but I draw the line at the root beer floats no longer being served in giant glass mugs but shitty plastic cups.

And finally the wait for food has increased massively. You'll order and stand around for ages waiting for your food. The employees are also just disillusioned with the place now, I'm guessing they aren't being paid well enough as they, like most places are putting an emphasis on their tip jars inside the store and the drive-thru.

The store's atmosphere is still the same as it was. Kind of ageless, but you can tell some of the building itself is starting to age, and some tables have big stacks of what appear to be napkins covered in some kind of resin holding them up... maybe just caramelized spilled soda built up over years and years.

I've knocked off two stars across the board. I hope someday it is restored back to its...

Tonight I stopped to grab something to go. A Regular Chocolate milkshake and order if Onion Rings. I get that a couple of times a week. The young man with glasses was very efficient. Courteous. The young lady just out of high school maybe? In the Pink Shirt COUGHED nine times ! waiting on the cooking staff to fill the orders after I got my order I threw the Onion Rings in the trash and scraped the top layer of the milkshake creme and cherry off in the parking lot. I dont need to get sick anymore at my 70 plus years old Really ? No masks on the wait staff no gloves either for the food handlers. My heart is broken, I worked in a A&W 57 years ago, ( 1965 ) and always enjoyed stopping at any remaining A&W restaurants left in the country. O well McDonalds is right...

My husband, son, and I stopped for a burger. Pulled into the drive thru. It was full so of course we waited our turn. We started to pull up and got to where the speaker was at the front bumper. We couldn't even read the menu and had the drive thru attendant yelling at us to place our order. We tried to tell her that we couldn't read the menu cause we were to far back. She still continued to yell at my husband. We got our order placed and finally made it up to the window. My husband asked if the order could be repeated. She was very rude cause half the order was wrong and she said that's not the order we placed. We tried to tell her we were to far from the speaker.
