Pals Watering Hole — Restaurant in Eatonton

If you're a Toby Keith fan it is not outside the realm of possibility that he frequented this place. Now, this is not an attempt at misleading anyone. Idk if Toby Keith ever came to Lake Oconee or not. But I do Love This Bar. Great staff, great crowd, and a good place to shoot pool. I would call it a great place, but for the limited space and limited number of pool tables. They have 3 bar box Diamonds and if you play billiards then you know that a Diamond is hard not to love. Especially when the upkeep is to the level that these are.

So it's 4 stars until they expand. Which is allegedly coming soon. According to the regulars by the end of 2025 there will be three more Diamond tables and I will be adjusting this review. All in all, Pals Watering Hole is a fun place to hang out and catch a game, or jump into the APA or the Saturday open 8-Ball tournament. If you're in the area...

I absolutely love this place. After coming here the first time a few weeks ago, it immediately became my go-to spot to relax after a hard day's work. Their slogan, "Good People, Good Times", is much too humble for what this environment truly is.

My first time here, I was welcomed and treated like family. People I had never met before showed me more kindness than I have seen from my close friends! The owners are a genuine and well-spirited family that show a lot of passion and concern for every guest that enters their business. The bartenders are attentive, patient, and are at the top of their game; while the cocktails are affordable and their beer is generously priced.

I encourage EVERYONE to come here, especially if they're looking to be treated with courtesy and unparalleled southern hospitality.

This bar has taken me in with open arms. Everyone is so friendly, ESPECIALLY the owners. They have the best bartender who remembers your drink after just one time of ordering. The locals are friendly and are always will to start a casual conversation. Friday’s are a blast with karaoke. People there have your back no matter what.
