Janet took a tough job on with my commission. She produced an over the top AMAZING result!!

Met Janet at her studio while shopping for a piece of work for over our fireplace, something Audubon like but not…she had just the piece! Large Heron that completes our living area perfectly! While discussing this piece, I asked about a dream painting I’d always wanted done, something out of the ordinary…I wanted a painting of a fighter jet I flew in the military. She suggested, why just the one? I flew multiple modern fighter jets over an 20+ year career, and I loved the idea! Janet was very patient with me, as I’m a very particular and attention to detail individual. We got down to business over many months and what was finally produced, went beyond my imagination. I walk by my personal military history on the wall, I’m so very proud, and amazed every time!!! She took my vision, expanded on it, and it’s now a forever piece in my home. When my husband and I moved to Greensboro three years ago, I wandered into Janet’s gallery one day and was blown away by the collection of art assembled!!! In addition to Janet’s own work (which is superb!!), she also features other artists’ work. After purchasing a particularly large piece, she and her husband, Rick, we’re willing to come to my home and hang it for me!!! She also repaired a sentimental painting that had been damaged…and was able to restore it such that you would never know it had previously been torn. I’ve also had a number of previously-owned items framed/reframed…and I’ve relied on Janet’s keen eye to select mats/design frames to showcase meaningful photos and charcoal etchings. I can’t recommend Swahn’s Gallery more highly…and Janet and Rick are just...

Very impressed with the quality, professionalism, and creativity of Janet! I could not be more pleased with the work that she did. She turned a piece of my art into a beautiful masterpiece with her detailed framework. She is incredibly talented and over exceeded my expectations.
